To all of the folks commenting on the end of the video, I know people that have ruined their paint with pressure washers. I have had pro detailers give both thumbs up and down to my statement to never wash a car with a pressure washer. BUT, most of the detail guys I know do not recommend it. It's probably okay so long as the nozzle is a safe distance away (a least couple feet). Common sense applies here. And for those commenting about the circular motions, yes, obviously straight lines are better. I was distracted by doing stuff to camera. And I knew there was XPEL on the whole hood. But you all didn't know that. Hopefully we can all sleep easier now. Cheers! TV

Love your reviews. I drive a 2015 Cayman S, and had the opportunity to talk to an owner of a new Panamera. She has had for a couple of months and absolutely loves it. She stated she drove at160 kph, on her trip from Vancouver, and it rode beautifully. At the end of our conversation I informed her I was a police officer. After her gasp, I said they're made to go fast.

Porsche is the best car company in my opinion without a doubt. You have SUVs (Cayenne) Sport Cars (911, Carrera) and Luxury Cars (Panamera) they have speed and functionality. I love Porsche.

Yea they have something for everyone. I like all their cars but I personally wouldn't buy a high end 911. With that kind of money I could have something much more special (in my opinion) than a 911. The panamera is a masterpiece though, definitely the first car I would want to get out of my list.

Other cleaning tips. Always use micro fiber towels to dry the car off. If someone says "just use an old t-shirt, don't listen to them. Spend the money. It's worth it. Also, after your done with cleaning the car, spray the inside and outside of the windows with glass cleaner. All of the leftover soap scum will be gone. I love the review and this car. The interior is stunning.

RB26DETT there is people always think of the panamera of the year 09-13 but a facelift came out in 2014-2016 which looks better.this new panamera looks kinda ugly since the 911 looks outdated they should have of went with the Cayman look

That sounds like a gas powered pressure washer, which tends to be quite powerful. I don't really see a problem with pressure washing a car, with proper caution. I use my electric one with a filter (standard 10" insert) ahead of it to prevent it from shooting out little particles at the car. I can't imagine it being worse than touching the finish. *shrug* Also, I always take the wheels off and pressure wash them separately, away from the car. I can't even imagine waxing the wheel while it's still on the car. I do front and back, every nooks and crannies. It takes hours.

Wow catspat! You take the wheels off? You have me beat on that. I commend you! A master detailer once told me, if you don't want something happening on your skin, don't do it to your car. He was just one of the people that told me pressure washing is bad. I have a friend that "washed" a piece of paint the size of hew fist off her car. In general, it's a bad idea.

Driven Car Reviews Pressure washing will not ruin your paint, unless of course, you place the nozzle and inch away from the surface. Pressure washing actually cleans the the surface more efficiently and uses less water than a conventional hose. Every professional detailer uses a pressure washer as part of their cleaning routine, which is essential when applying a beautiful soap application known as "snow-foam."

GravityFighter that's what happened to me. There is a small piece of paint that came off, but it's black on black, so it's hard to see. However, I also took off the red Pontiac emblem in the same day. I gave up after that.

People these days are struggling with lack of knobs in exchange for a touchscreens. Why does the manufacturers won't listen? Skoda Kodiaq have knobs and this is great move, same as with the hard keys buttons - driver can feel them not putting his eyes from the road to operate car's functions. Are the cars manufacturers like apple? Are they trying to ignore customers' needs to save money but not lowering the prices? Apple carPlay? The same backwarded piece of crap as apple's iphone 7? 07:55 A pressure-washer will ruin the paint? What kind of stupid bullshit is that? Maybe if you hold the nozzle 1 inch away from the paint but otherwise that is simply not true. I probably know 5 or 6 professional high-end detailers and they all use pressure washers. I machine-polish my car once every two years and inbetween I wash it every 2 weeks with a 2-bucket system, microfiber washing gloves, a prewash with citrus and I do all the cleaning and washing off the prewash and the car-shampoo with a pressure washer. And after those 2 years the paint still looks great - so I actually did not have to polish it - I only do it, because i want to make my paint look like on a new car. But to make a long story short: In order to destroy the paint with a pressure washer you really have to fuck up very, very, very, very badly with the pressure washer.
