Well, its definitely a looker. The Levorg is an all new wagon, sharing its underpinnings with the Impreza. Targeting buyers who want a sporty drive with wagon-esque practicality with Subaru DNA.

My major complaint with the MY18 GT-S Levorg is that the intermittant wiper speeds are very poorly chosen. It is not possible to slow it down enough. Still, if that's the worst complaint I can make, I'm pretty happy. I look forward to the weekends again and I always avoid the freeways. Those twisty roads are just so much fun.

I noticed the same "problem" also. Little feature, but still annoying when in light rain.

that is the legacy revolution wagon, it has nothing to do with the impreza ATM. next gen it and the wrx (the sedan version of the levorg) should be the same platform.

I don't get why this isn't more popular, when I bought mine. The 320dx and A4 Q, no camera, 5000$/€ more expensive, the tax more then 2x higher, smaller screen, no LED beam etc. If u add up all this and have like 6000$/€ in the wallet after a few years. U can do something fun with that :)

I was going to buy a 6.2 SSV Wagon or HSV R8 Tourer. But looking at a second hand low kilometer GT-S Levorg's are around 35 to 42 grand. I can spend the extra on a MRT Performance kzbin.info/www/bejne/ime8hqCEi7Z8mpI XB kit for a reliable 225KW & 400NM 5 sec vehicle with still way better fuel economy for day to day driving while keeping Kia Stingers in the rear vision mirror through the mountains. Seems a no brainer to me.

This is a car that you cannot hear the engine noise but plenty of tyre rumbling and roaring road noises when running although ultra quiet tyres are being used. I" m still trying to find ways to insulate the cabin. Otherwise it is good looking and fun to drive.

I have 17" wheels with Landsail century qirin tires, and even in rough roads it's pretty quiet for my ear...

The Levorg exterior looks like a Legacy with an air scoop. Why Subaru will not build a WRX wagon goes against everything I learned in business school... and basic business common sense. While I appreciate that the Levorg has a WRX engine (I assume with the duel scroll turbo) that the car does not come as a manual is a showstopper. Also the design is way too sedate. Mazda and Hyundai seem to be studying old Ferrari designs and their entire product lines look way better as a result. Subaru should do the same instead of designing exteriors that kinda look like Honda, Toyota, VW, Audi, etc. Lastly, why is the Levorg only available in Japan and Australia? The US and European markets have been screaming for a WRX wagon since 2014. When you have a market that is willing and able to buy, why would you shut off access to your product?

Sad but they have lost there best assets. frameliss door window frames. Simplicity these gadgets and electronic interventions kills driver inspiration. why does software have to make decisions we have have the intelligence to decide. well at least still some of us at least for now

Ian Tjasink THANK YOU. I always thought frameless windows made it look cool. I guess it's better for sound isolation this way. New Subarus are damn quiet inside.

Don't get me started! I've been driving manuals for 45 years. I took delivery of my MY18 Levorg GT-S 2.0L and couldn't be happier. In Sydney traffic I now arrive far more relaxed. On twisty mountain roads, the Levorg easily leaves most other cars far behind. It's a brilliant car and claims that "real men drive manuals" are just bogus. After driving one of my cars for a few hundred kms without a clutch, I challenge your assertion. Real men drive manuals without using the clutch. And, before that, my first car had no synchro on first. See how you go doing that. THEN you can give your "real men" speech nonsense.

Zaphod Beeblebrox shot the fuxk down. Well said. I love my manual and I love double clutching. But I would be super happy with a nice CVT box like any new Subaru.
