Some scenic blasts through the mountains. Lots of rain before this ride and plenty of wet spots and gravel. Not exactly balls-out, but still fun.

how can people not smash the like button as soon as they hear that amazing sound? And then there is also the great footage. Thank you for that video!! :)

Thanks man. Stay tuned. I just got a better camera and a gimbal for even better footage. Been perfecting sound capture too. This summer is gonna be awesome.

I will, definitely! Hopefully you've got more luck with the next gimbal :( I'm really stoked to see and hear the new footage this year. Summer will be great! :D

Dude you did well to avoid that oil, well spotted. Just goes to show, you can never be too paranoid about suspect dark patches in the road. Really like your riding style, fast but cautious, reminds me of me. :)

wow great vid buddy, I have to say that akrapovic sounds amazing, not sure if that's just your mic has great sound and is picking up better than the sound from my giannelli race can or its just a way nicer sounding can :"). Man don't talk to me about oil slicks, been there done that as you know, glad you made it with just a minor front slip, but fck that was one big slick!

Im thinking of changing my mirrors, what are these little guys like, can you see anything out of them, or they really just cosmetic?

nice ride! looking good overthere, question i take it you ride it without the race mapping?? sounds like it´s popping good in the exhaust on closed throttle!! i ride the with the same akra and after installing race map (akra) i didnt pop as good anymore :( greetz
@JpOcDenver7 жыл бұрын
rausd Hey brother, thanks for the comment. You had me concerned for a second that maybe my dealer messed up by not installing it. But I remembered that it now says race on the dash so it's definitely running the race map. All my videos are between 4000 and 7000 feet above sea level. I don't know if that would affect it.
@On2WheelswithDennis7 жыл бұрын
Hey mate!, it might be just that! anyways.. wish mine was still popping like that!!!!!! sounds pretty sweet!! i now only get it when it comes under 3500 rpm with closed throttle :( keep up these videos!!!! i will soon make one myself! finally got a gopro... safe riding!! greetz D

Great to see a clip of a real rider , not a ride down the straight HWY , Have u had any issues with the tuono ??? I'm in the maket for a new bike
@JpOcDenver6 жыл бұрын
The only issue was a situation where the bike was hot and the weather was hot (95+) and sometimes when you came to a stop the bike would die. It would start right back up though. But with the release of the updated map for the race slip-on that issue has completely gone away. It's a PHENOMENAL bike. Literally one of the best on the planet. But it's also not my only bike. If i could have only one bike, this wouldn't be it. But that's because i like to do touring as well as sport riding and commuting. Hence my Multistrada. But for a weekend day tripper, canyon carver, and occasional track day-er, i can't imagine a better bike.

Great vid! lovely sound. What's the max speed on the tuono then? seems like it's running out of puff after 150mph...
@JpOcDenver7 жыл бұрын
Sinkmonster 170 speedo. 160-162 actual (gps). *I'm also above 6000 ft when I break 150mph so keep that in mind.
@The-Randomest-Guy7 жыл бұрын
Sinkmonster MCN clocked it at 165 on GPS when they ran it against the s1000r and superduke. Which were both around 158-160.

Cheers guys! Still fancy one of these next year. Although it might have to be an RSV4! I’ll test ride both!
@The-Randomest-Guy7 жыл бұрын
Sinkmonster yeah I went to buy an rsv4 but ended up with the Tuono. It's my 1st non-sports bike in 17yrs(it is a sports bike, really. But I mean it's the first bike I've had with out clip on handlebars) and I'll never go back for the street. More comfortable, just as fast on most roads, sounds slightly louder(tuono=thunder in Italian), wheelies easier and cheaper. A couple of my close friends have rsv4s and they're awesome too. But have a look at some reviews. If you like going fast but not have to stretch after a long ride, it's possibly one of the best bikes available.

I’ve just had mine done and the Ecu flash that comes with it and I don’t get any of the crackle and pop you get on decel 🤔 Throttle is so much better now at low revs than the stock exhaust. And the sound... 👌
@JpOcDenver7 жыл бұрын
cantfindanamefree What elevation are you? I live at 4000ft and most of my riding/footage is at 5000-7000ft. Not sure that would matter on a fuel injected bike but it's my only theory.
@cantfindanamefree7 жыл бұрын
RoadRunner I’m a low level elevation. I’m a bit jealous. If that is the case I need to go find some mountains 😀
@JpOcDenver7 жыл бұрын
cantfindanamefree Well don't be. You lose roughly 15% of horsepower for every 5000ft of elevation. So in that sense you have a significantly more powerful motorcycle.

Yep put race ecu in mine opened the bike up and is allot less twitchy, the bike needs to breathe. Put SC exhaust on and its obnoxiously loud thinking to switch to this

Wow really love this video. What's ur take on this bike vs the RR. And what do u think about the DUC monster 1200s 2017 vs ur bike?
@JpOcDenver7 жыл бұрын
Ben Kaylee Krol sorry about the slow response. I won't BS you. I never road the RR. If the RR had been matte black instead of gloss, there's a good chance I would've got it instead of the Factory. BUT after seeing both side by side, the Factory stands out. The ohlins, the tail section... But, bottom line, I believe the 2017 Tuono RR to be the BEST value in new motorcycles. Now for the Monster 1200s... I think that's a great choice too. Never ridden one but I've done my homework. I own a 2013 Multistrada, which factored into my decision. I considered the monster but I wanted something more sporty since I have the Multistrada already. I basically wanted to go as sporty as I could without buying something with clip-ons. I believe the monster would have better manners at low, city speeds than the Tuono. My Tuono dislikes anything under 25 mph quite a bit. So in the end it depends what you're buying it for. I ride my Multistrada to work every day. I would not want a Tuono as a commuter. Although it wouldn't be terrible, there are better options, I believe. I know you didn't ask, but if you want a do-it-all motorcycle, goddamn that Multistrada is fantastic. So: Real touring/passenger/canyon carving ability- Multistrada. City bike/short commute/weekend canyons- Monster. Longer commute/beast engine/comfortable sport riding-SuperDuke. Canyon carver/weekend toy/occasional track day-Tuono. Track toy that you ride on street occasionally/very short distance-R1 or RSV4. Full disclosure, I bought my Tuono for $18k out-the-door. That was my first offer and they accepted.
@tuyenhoang55467 жыл бұрын
damn, i was about to upgrade from monster 821 to the Tuono but your comment make me think again lol. I wanted a all-in-one bike and ride pretty close to work/ canyon ride on the weekend but the tuono probably too much

Amazing bike and sounds, is it a full system or slip-on?
@JpOcDenver6 жыл бұрын
kam1996 racing slip-on. Best bang for the buck on this bike as the slip-on removes all the unwanted hardware (cat, muffler, butterfly valve). Full system costs 3x as much but the only other thing you get is flow-thru headers which this bike basically already has stock. In other words, a full system would sound and perform almost identically.
