If you live in TN you just hop on with a helmet and your good to go you don't have to register it or get insurance whatsoever or even have to have a plate, there's a couple of states that are like that,

Use it for a little first. Make sure there’s some in there when it arrives though.

Hi bro, I also live in CA but when I check the DMV regarding mopeds or motor-driven cycles, It says it needs M1 or M2 license. Only motorized scooters can be ridden on the street without a motorcycle license and only on the bike path and where the speed limit is 25 mph. I love the x21 and the style but I like the electric version.

I hope you changed the oil and gear oil from China prior to starting that engine. They used cheap reclaimed oil for shipping. Just in case some idiot starts them by accident. I even change the gear oil. Last one I did had mineral oil in there.
