I know I mentioned in the video that it's highly unlikely but the date could very well be the debut date for the group. Seeing as how the teaser is posted on the Lunar New Year and that the project is "supposed" to last 18 months from October 2016, April 14 2018 is right on the 18th month. Also the fact that it's under LOOΠΔ supports this theory. Another possibility that many of you have brought up and I thought of as well (just didn't put it in the video) is that the date could be flipped and mirrored: 2018.02.29 >>> 2018.02.26 which coincides with the Mobius theory. They can mirror what they did with Vivi and introduce the 3rd unit (including member 12) first and then give member 12 her month alongside the unit's repackaged. Another interesting thing brought up is that the Mobius that Jaden Jeong posted has Heejin's and Gowon's colours. I think most of us agree that it all comes back to Heejin (since it's a loop) but why is it Gowon's colours? What of the last member? Dates to take note of: 2018.02.26 2018.04.14 So many possibilities with this group! Just gets me more excited as time goes on. Can't wait for what surely will be a LEGENDARY debut!

i feel like the 12th member is God, she created the loonaverse, including Eden. Haseul is very important too, i think she's the angel/messenger of God. her animal is a DOVE. it's a well known biblical bird. and that explains why she can travel and see the members that are from different dimensions. her yellow truck was in Girl front MV which means she was observing OEC. and then in Heart attack she could see Chuu. it's also curious how she's the only member so far to see her animal form (and then kill it) then we have Yves and Chuu, representing Eve and Adam Go Won could be representingJesus, because of the crown

I think these colors represents HEEJIN and GOWON. The last girl (creator of the Loonaverse) may be represented by black since she’s the one who made it all and black is the mix of all colors. The colors in the moon represent her first and last creation on her universe, I’m not saying the 12th member is a Loona god but who knows

Don't you guys remember Kim Lip's M/V? In the description it was mentioned that Yeojin was lost in a forest and that the girls have to save her. And until around Loona Tv #200 all of us thought that Yeojin was gonna be part of the last unit, but BBC said that she's the '/' of the 1/3. I think that Yeojin has something to do with all of this

My theory is Loona 1/3 and this final unit are parallels of each other. Loona 1/3 in a parallel or mirrored world would be Loona 3/1. If we take 3/1 as a date, it is March 1. The date for this teaser was “2018.02.29” and as we know, there is no such date this year, which can only mean that it could be a special date in the a Loonaverse, while in the actual world, it means March 1. Also, if you watch the teaser, and see how long the video is, it is exactly 29 seconds, referencing to 02.29 a.k.a. March 1. I believe March 1 is the debut on the unit. Why would BBC drop this teaser when the final unit would debut in April? I think this Lunar Calander, April 14, would be the date of the 12th Girls solo. Reason being, Loona 1/3’s first teaser was uploaded Feb 11, and Vivi was revealed Feb 12. So, for the final unit, the teaser was uploaded Feb 15, which means the 12th girl will be revealed Feb 16. Loona 1/3 made their debut on March 12. Vivi then made her solo debut the next month, April 16. So, it would make sense if the final unit made their debut March 1, and then the 12th girl makes her solo debut. Loona 1/3 then made their comeback with Sonatine, on April 26, only 10 days after Vivi’s solo. So, for the final unit, the time frame will be quite similar. March 1, unit debut, then April 14, 12th girl solo, April 24, unit comeback. Then, in May, Loona will make their debut as a full group.

I love the connection to the lunar calendar. Awesome work! I have a feeling this teaser is all we're going to get this month. The recent member reveals were following a similar schedule, but I was surprised there hadn't been a "Who's Next Girl?" teaser for the 12th member. On the other hand, February and August last year were also light on promotional stuff and teasers, with 1/3 debuting in March and OEC in September. If the pre-debut project is exactly 18 months long, that leaves very little time to reveal another member, especially with the two "off" months before the previous sub-unit debuts. So unless LOONA is 11 members, I feel that the project might be extended instead, with the last member being revealed next month and the third sub-unit debuting in April and coinciding with this teaser.

The thing I don't understand is the colors used. The first looks more like Heejin's than Yves', the other is Go Won's, and Chuu's is nowhere to be found. If the colors are related to the Möbius strip and represent all of LOONA (Heejin being the first and Go Won the last), perhaps the 12th girl is unlike the others and that is why she hasn't been revealed so far. But then again if the teaser is about LOONA as a whole, April 14th seems too soon for a full debut...

Not sure if many people noticed or know about it(probably not yet), between the loona intro and the moon appearing, in that less than a second static if you look frame by frame, you can see a door. Also, this teaser more than likely is pertaining to the full loona group, not just m12 or the last unit. The intro they used is the generic/full loona intro, if it was about the last unit they would make it like Yves/Chuu/Gowon’s intro with the opposite eclipse. And that ‘loona’ tab on their website and the name of the video also implies that it’s a full group thing. As for the date, there are so many ways to look at it that anything can go at this point, so I won’t go into it.

In my opinion I think that the 3rd sub unit will debut before the release of the last members solo song. Additionally the title of yves b side track was d1, this may give me the indication that the members will debut on the first day of March🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. Moreover, talking about the shape of the Möbius strip because of the debut of the first sub unit and how they structured it by revealing the member’s solo after their promotions. The next sub unit did not follow the same way or pattern because they had 3 members, however I believe this sub unit will go back to the first pattern or way before like a cycle in the Möbius strip. because there's only 2 months left until April 14, it can't be their full debut. but it /is/ placed in a new 'LOONA' section on their website.. so the teaser must have something to do with the whole group. so my theory us that this teaser is a teaser for the whole group, but the date doesn't mean their debut date but maybe for another teaser? like maybe the start of their promotions for the debut? you know how when kpop groups have schedules before making a comeback/debut, like when to release teaser pictures or highlight medley. BUT since we haven't got the 12th member and the last unit, it's unlikely to have schedules like that anytime soon. so in conclusion i think this teaser is the first teaser of LOONA's debut, that's going to lead us to another teaser on that date (February 28th's lunar calendar aka April 14). but after seeing this video... i had new doubts lol. so now it has to have something to do with the last group because of the mobius strip from his instagram. but... on the website it's sectioned under LOONA, not the 3rd sub-unit.... now what 😭

The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be will be fully illuminated. This phase occurs at 00:58 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Pink Moon because it marked the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the first spring flowers. This moon has also been known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Growing Moon, and the Egg Moon. This is the debut date for the new sub unit will debut most likely. I am almost completely positive that Loona will debut in August. August has been the only month that a mv or song has not been released. And the next member should be revealed this month or the new unit will be revealed this month and the 12th member will be revealed in April. Like what they did with Vivi. OR they'll do what they did with Yeojin and not include her in the sub-unit and debut her with the rest of the group all together. OR MAYBE they'll leave this girl out of the unit and add Yeojin in?? I just think that the video was placed under the LOONA name in the website because they will they debut the 12th girl first before revealing the subunit, and they still need to keep the name in secret, hence using the group's name alternatively. They just needed to post something on the Lunar New Year as a grand teaser!

It's hard for me to tell if it's an eclipse or a full moon... But Feb 15th/16th was definitely an auspicious day for BBC to post this video. Not only was it the start of the Lunar New Year, on Feb 15th there was also a partial solar eclipse and a new moon that day. I've been trying to look for anything else relating to 02.29 in any way, but it's proving tough. The closest thing I found was that the last february 29th we had was in 2016 and I can't find any reason it would connect to 2018.

TicTacP After reading your comment, I also thought that it was weird for BBC to upload a teaser on feb 16. So I decided to look up the last unit released dates for both the solo teasers and mvs. I notice that there has been a pattern related to these release dates. Yves teaser was Nov. 14 and the mv was Nov. 28 (Idk if this is related but The Carol 2.0 released a song on dec.13) Chuu(exactly a month later) teaser Dec. 14 and mv Dec. 28 Go won teaser Jan 15(why 1 month and 1 day later?) and mv Jan. 30(but why on the 30th and not the 29th😕) Eclipse teaser Feb. 16 and the date in the video is 2018.02.29(hmm 😒) So almost all the teaser(#s 14-16 so far) and mvs(28-30) have been released in "chronological" order. So what if BBC release something between the dates of feb 26~Mar. 1 and then they'll release another teaser on Mar. 17. Also will they release something on Apr. 18. P.s. sorry for the long post

Yara Santos even then it doesn't add up since Loona has always been the English name of the group. In Korean it's 이달의 소녀, which translated means Girl of the Month. Girl of the Month is the translated English name of the group But LOONA is the official English name, actually made up with the first Korean letter of each syllable of 이달의 소녀 (that's what the logo and intro is all about)

I think that they’re gonna release the sub-unit before the 12th girl, this is bc according to your theory the sub unit might be debuting in April, which is close to when loona 1/3 debuted! Since they are opposites to each other, they might pull a Vivi & debut the last girl after the subunit to tie theory together before debut!! There were a lot of theories that tied the last girl with creating the loonaverse, so for her to be the very last debut would make sense!

Okay regardless of theories and continuity and everything, I really hope the 12th girl's solo doesn't come after the last subunit debut or the full group debut. That would be so anti-climactic for me. That's like knowing what a gift is before you get it. I want her to get her own song, dance(?), mv, the whole deal, in all her solid solitary glory before we see her in tandem with another 3 or 9 girls. After all of this anticipation and pondering, I don't want her reveal to be snubbed by everything else. Nothing is going to matter more than the big debut of all 12 (imo) so better to make that the last thing. Also someone else said that it would be true to the mobius if it happened in that order (reverse of 1/3).

I think there's still a good chance its the debut date, since it seems like BBC plans ahead a lot.

Yeah, that makes total sense but in the mobius HeeJin being first would correspond to the last member, Go Won right now it's the last announced but still she is the 11th member so I don't think of her as the last one. I also don't know if loona 3/3 will consist of only Yves, Chuu and Gowon or if they're going to add the last member too.. It's all just so confusing!! The cool thing about this is that we can all have our different versions and while what I think might be incorrect it's fun to try and guess.

I think that people are forgetting the colour *YELLOW* .The colours in the eclipse of the teaser are resulted forms from the RGB scale, with Turquoise, Magenta and Yellow if u see closely. This colour scale is a decomposition of light (which we all know is a common motif in the branch) Additionally Yellow is Hyunjins colour and so far all 3 worlds have a related symbol of Hyunjin, either herself there or the cat. What could this mean??? Even the whole Loona 1/3 moons are in yellow

It’s not an exclusive 1/3 logo, it’s the generic loona logo, which they also used for prequels etc. It more than likely has something to do with the full group
