I so want to thank you and all your family for the immense service you have given. I can only imagine the stress that was placed upon each of you over the years. Truly I feel indebted to your family and I thank the Lord for your intellect and more importantly for a heart that experiences such grace that you can then love your enemies. I'm an SDA member that had the good fortune of becoming a close friend of a pastor that sat in one of your classes. He was only able to talk to me about your findings away from the church. How tragic. He is deceased now and left me a couple of your books on Daniel and Revelation. I look back now with hindsight and see your influence in many of his sermons. That congregation is still very gospel centred and I believe owes much of it's maturity in the faith too a pastor they had over twenty years ago and his teacher at college. He had the courage to elevate people's thinking to focus on our Lord's amazing love. Unfortunately back then just as now, as a denomination we are still not in a place where we can have open discussion about the investigative judgement. We are still very immature and self preservation rules rather than a humble spirit desiring to be taught. Sorry I digress, my reason for this txt is to give you words of thanks that I wish could hug you and convey my love and admiration for your life of service.
