What's very interesting is the book of Jasher on the expanded version of the Joseph story. The brothers did NOT willingly ever repent or change. They fought Joseph with the aim to violently murder him again in Egypt, in thunderous battles. Moses leaves out a lot 😉. Jasher begins with the creation of man thru Joshua's death.
