Thank you! This was frustrating. I'd also like to personally thank the genius that came up with the menu layout to where a sub menu is scrolled all the way down and doesn't clearly indicate that there are more options that you can't see. That's the real winner right there.

That's exactly what I was thinking. That genius hopefully found a new career somewhere else. Nobody would think they'd need to scroll up to see the rest of the options. Very frustrating that it's not intuitive and you've got to go to KZbin to find this information.

Don’t know why you got thumbs down??? I was able to reset my oil light with your video. Might not of had to scroll up from the wiper setting but still got me to the menu. Anyhow nice video saved me tons of time looking to reset the light

Thanks! Definitely a glitch where the extra menu is hidden. Who would have thought that from “Wipers” you’d scroll up from there to find the oil life reset etc!!? Then KZbin popped in my head and there you were. Same year as my truck and everything. I love my truck. Happy Easter from Chicago Land.

The end was especially helpful to see what your oil life is - I use a semi-synthetic oil and after 7,000 miles I wanted to see my oil life - with your video, I was able to see it was 45% so it looks like i can go a while longer.

I was going crazy…I just got an ‘18 F150 and couldn’t find that at all…On my ‘17 that screen was under engine information, with the idle hours and other stuff, but I guess they moved it in 2018… Thanks for the information!!!

I have a 2019KR, and it has a menu across the top that has the settings (2 cog wheels) as the right most menu. It doesn't hide the oil reset.. all the basic instructions are the same. In my case, I had an oil change done right before Covid Lockdown and with tel-working haven't driven my truck much (maybe a couple hundred miles) the change oil like came on... seems ridiculous to change the oil after only a couple hundred miles. Thanks for the reset info!

Thanks very much for posting this. I had my 2018 F-150 serviced at Valvoline in March. The reminder sticker they placed in the upper left corner of the windshield was dated June 30. On June 30, the "Change Engine Oil Soon" reminder began showing up! Coincidence? I doubt it. Could they be programming those reminders into the truck's computer when it's connected to their equipment?
