I dont really get sentimental but Cheer had me in a roller coaster of emotion and i now shall be cheering on all future students under your belt even if i dont know a thing about that sport and Cheer gave me a new found respect for the sport

I binged watched this on Netflix last night. Lol I couldn't stop till I saw the Daytona results. What a great family you got their coach. So amazing to see everyone's story and how you built this team to believe in each other. Congrats to you all. You gave me chills seeing you put it all together. Proud of every single one of you.

Just watch the Netflix’s doco on this team and I watch the team ever year. Being a cheerleader myself I fully enjoyed the doco and love it!! The 2019 routine was amazing to watch. Can’t wait to see the 2020 team. I hope Netflix dose a another one this year!!

I know about a thousand other people have already said this, but as a fellow (former) coach (dance), I wanted to tell you that I admire you so much! You are an incredible person and coach and these kids are lucky to have you!! The series was amazing, gripping, and I literally about had a heart attack when your tumbler got injured and you guys had to regroup and re-perform! Then, you came out and absolutely killed it with an alternate?! INCREDIBLE!! Congrats om your win and I wish you many more years of success! ❤

I never thought I’d get into a series on Netflix 😆 this one got me !! So good 😊 finished it last weekend!! Tear jerker for real ! Amazing group of young people....hope they all live their best lives and embrace sober life . It’s the best way to live. So hard in your 20’s to stay off social media and drugs. Great documentary. Monica is a one of kind coach, so cool calm and collective. She had the well deserved respect of the whole team. These cheerleaders are insanely fearless. the discipline of the sport will serve each one all through their lives. I enjoyed watching and will follow Navarro Cheer.

I absolutely LOVED Cheer!! I was never a cheerleader growing up, but I saw the trailer for this on Netflix and it pulled me in. I couldn't stop, episode after episode. What a great documentary! Thank you so much for sharing your stories. I loved getting to know each of the athletes and where they came from. It had me cheering, gasping, laughing, and even crying. I have already recommended this to my co workers as a MUST see. I am a BIG fan of Navarro now and I hope we get to see more of you all!! Also, kudos to you Monica for being such a great coach and "Mom" to these students. You are a huge asset to the team!!!

The Cheer series popped up on my reco list on Netflix. I know jack squat about cheeleading but I am glad I watched it. I binged the entire series and was nervous as hell the entire time. The emotion, drama and the grit and determination of the team was inspiring. Hopefully there will be a second season and Navarro will have more time to tell us their story.

Vees&Things&Flowers yes, though they compete on the juco level, the competitive score for the event counts towards the overall ranking. That’s all schools for the Grand Championship, of which Navarro has won 5 and 14 junior college championships.
