How did u take the clear lens off

I used a saw. I do not put the lens back on the ones for these videos. if you intend to put the light back together, you need to use a heat gun or oven to soften the glue and pry the lens from the housing.

My led strip is need of replacing .. my question is can they be bought & replaced without buying a complete new headlight?

No they cannot be purchased individually. Headlights are sold as a single piece/complete unit.
