I recommend installing MMR Performance Billet Timing Chain Guides and Arms since you’re taking off the front cover for oil pump upgrade. Better timing accuracy and piece of mind should the transmission fail, exceeding 8,000 rpm.

Awesome, maybe you will be able to get a pass in the car before the tracks close this year, a base line number would be interesting. You won't need to strip your car down because those turbos will make more than enough power. ... Start buying some safety equipment for the track like a fire jacket, gloves, shoes. Congratulations you sure waited long enough. 👍

Your still going to take a month to build and test and tune the car and after that it will break something and it kinda sucks that’s why I tell you hellcat for the win it’s the best most amazing car out smooth ride comfty and a/c and heating seats you really can’t beat that whit that base model mustang you have

Holy Intercooler, Batman!!! Lemme know how your coolant temps are after install. Curious how much that large intercooler affects.

It may be an air to air intercooler for turbos which wouldnt affect coolant temps right? I really dont know much but usually intercoolers that big are air to air and just the air from past the turbo goes through it before that goes into the intake manifold I believe. Coolant temps may be higher because that radiator is behind that intercooler, unless I am just wrong.

A. Wheeler that’s what I was meaning. How it is blocking the whole radiator. But I’m sure, if it was an issue, a 160* Mishimoto thermostat and quick tune will help. It’s a cheap and easy install for sure.

I put a 160* thermostat in my V6 because I live in Arizona and only see 195* cylinder head temps Max, in summer.

@@AtticAZ My tune turns my fan ons full power at 195 coolant temp, I still hit like 210+ though if I do a pull , havent done a track day or anything though. I am also on e85 I think that may help cylinder head temperatures stay a bit lower.

Btw buying a $170 3.75 griptec and matching belt to take the $4750 stage 2 upgrade ( plus install remember it has to be ASE installed so over 5500) back to stage 1 boost levels when I could have just bought a griptec stage 1, 6 rib to make same boost AFTER it blew the engine on first hit ( probably this one too been dreading a compression check ) would have been eating a shit sandwich with corn in it

And 1320chick doing 9.38 on 6 rib hehe...AND her 10rib (not 8 rib) 132mm tb upgrade is like 1400 vs 4750... Just the 8 rib pulleys are 1800 plus 875 for 103mm tb and 850 for airbox and 113mm MAF housing if you didnt want the full stage 2 kit
