A little fast but after a couple of views everything fell into place . Thank you for the thoroughness in your procedure. You saved an 85 year old some money and the 2019 XC60 works like new .

Frustrated by a badly filmed video claiming to show how to replace the battery in my remote I found yours. After installing a new battery I tested the device and it didn't work. Using a multimeter I checked to insure this Energizer CR2032 3 volt battery I had was putting out the proper voltage. It showed 3.1+. I used a pencil eraser to gently polish the tips of the contacts and reinstalled the battery. The device works like advertised. Thank you for a great video.

You specified this was for a SC60. My remote is for a 2018 Volvo V90 Cross Country.

Thank you! I would eventually have figured it out, but being able to quickly see which releases and what direction to slide the covers made the process quick and easy. Greatly appreciated!

So if I replace the battery and the key fob and it’s still not working, do you have any suggestions?
@PYR-AutoАй бұрын
if you are sure the new fob battery is good and installed properly then there may be an issue with the key fob or vehicle itself.

Great vid! Very well done and usefull! Sorry for the OT but I'm justo wondering where did you find that sublime key cover, it looks perforated leather (similar to the seats of my car). Where did you find it?
@PYR-Auto Жыл бұрын
Thanks! it's actually not a cover - its just the way the key fob comes. Im not sure why some are like this and some come as a hard plastic
@giuliano.lomartire Жыл бұрын
@@PYR-Auto thank you so much for your prompt reply, actually my key is hard plastic and there is an optional cover that replaces the plastic one, made by leather.. but that’s solid leather with no pierces… instead I really like yours because it’s similar to my seats. Thank you anyway for taking time to reply to me.

I hate everything about volvo, I gave them a gi fir years but when you get in a new Hyundai Pallisade for $49k and get what would have cost you $80k you realize how dumb you were.
