Great help to open the fab and replace. Be aware that my 2015.5 XC60 T5 FAB has TWO CR 2430 batteries in each fab. I replaced the one battery 1 year ago and the fab worked for about a year. Looked at your video again and realized my favs have a second CR2430 under the first behind the white insulator plastic, which happens to be clearly labeled that there's two of them. Perhaps you could edit your video to indicate some have two batteries and clearly both should be replaced. Thanks for your help.

Mine had 2 when I opened but the white is paper and it wasn’t between the batteries it was covering the connector…?

My 2013 XC60 took 2x CR2430. I bought them from O'Reilly's for $7/piece. They can be found cheaper online but my fob was dead and I needed them right away.

Worked well, thank you. As many others have commented, mine has two batteries. I suspect that may be the setup for all the 6-button FOBs.

I'm confused. When I opened the fob for my 2012 XC60, there are TWO batteries. Your tutorial only showed one. Is one of them an extra? There was a paper separator in between the two batteries. I am confused.
