2018-2022 Honda Accord Oil change

This is a 2021 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder 2.0L Engine. I'm doing an oil change, pretty easy and straight forward.

Both are fine, make sure it’s synthetic.

@NutzAboutBolts sounds good 👍 when I do for oil change do dealers always do regular or I have to tell them I want synthetic or pay extra under warranty

@@AmericanTrucker89 that I’m not too sure, you can ask them and hopefully the service writer will know. I think they usually just use whatever the oil that’s 0w-20 in their tank that’s bought by the dealership. If you use your own oil, they probably won’t charge for the oil but they’ll charge for the labor.

How much total for the oil, filter?

Probably 35$ or so, I use mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter. It’s pricier than your normal regular oil and filters

Hello my friend. I'm sorry to upset you. You have four mistakes. Mistake 1. You do NOT change the seal on the drain screw. Mistake 2. You don't finally tighten this screw With a torque wrench. mistake 3. You do NOT fill the filter with oil while the adjustment position is available for it. mistake 4: after putting oil according to the capacity, start the engine for three minutes. stop the engine and let the oil return for at least five minutes.after we measure with the pointer. also the one who did the last oil change is probably unrelated to the subject.we NEVER tighten aluminum like this (torque wrench).and on the filler cap we do NOT exert excessive force when closing.these from me,... where I've been living for 35 years now I do this beautiful work.always be well. from what you wrote, i understand how you are very young.we learn from our mistakes. it is difficult to admit them. getting old now ,.... or my advice is: love more what you do. know that all these mechanisms have life and soul.
