2018 Fall Muskie Fishing Madness!

Here are the highlights from last week's trip up into the Northwoods of Wisconsin, casting for fall muskies! Musky fishing is something I absolutely love to do, especially when you have an awesome boat-side encounter! I got very lucky to have four fish touch the net over the four days of fishing and I wish I could say all four made it into the net... as you'll see.
We had some horrible conditions and I think it rained the entire time... but at least we didn't have any snow. We were casting big plastics and focusing in on some key structures to find the action we did and even had a very unexpected catch while hunting walleyes the last day after the tournament.
It was great to be back up there and I can't wait to be back. Hope you enjoy reliving the moments with me tomorrow night (10/11/18) at 7pm (central time) as we use one of KZbin's newest features - the live premieres!

I have always wanted to try out that Muskie tourney because their tourism depends on great fishing. All the locals talk so highly about it. I have a work commitment every year that keeps me from participating. Awesome job!

Cheers from up here in toronto canada. Love seeing that blk/orange dawg.. Dont know what it is about that color but its clearly a worldwide producer. Ive seen the blk/orange bulldog or shadzilla outfish everything else enough times to recognize a pattern. Its like our pike and firetiger:-) great vid! Keep em colin

They are trying to see the population and sizes of the fish so they can make sure there isn’t too many pike or musky etc.

Thanks Jon. I really like a Windstopper glove (missing finger tips) for my cranking hand and a thin waterproof full type of glove for the support hand.

I sure love top water strikes... but in fall, I love the workout it takes and results of big plastics such as bull dawgs and medussas

OB Outdoors another channel I follow they swear by Medusa’s. If you had to choose just one color which one?

Colors are interesting but to sum it up, I love a black body with orange or white accent.
