The 30 Millions d’Amis Foundation (30 Million Friends) is the best known registered charity in France that fights on many fronts to defend and protect animals. Every summer an important campaign is launched to prevent people from abandoning their pets. 60 000 dogs and cats are « thrown out » by families going on vacation each year. This 2 minute movie, directed by Xavier Giannolli, one of the foremost French directors shows the unique relationship between a little girl and her dog. We follow them through all the important moments of their lives until the animal grown old dies in his mistresses arms.
