Style and practicality. As an ethusiast, I would go for this over the Type R for maintenance and cost of ownership, IMO. The Type R is rare but THIS is a UNICORN!

Great review!! He was lucky to have found this car. I’m surprised the previous owner sold it. The Sport 2.0T is the performance bargain of the lineup. It provides the most bang for your buck. It’s sad the manual is no longer offered. I drove the 2.0T Touring with the 10 spd when it was released back in 2018 and it was a blast!

I've had this car on a lease for the last 3.5 years. I'd say its only flaws are that it doesn't have an LSD and clutch take up is a bit abrupt. Otherwise it's comfortable, huge inside, has all the great features, and looks great. I love the lower driving position over the Camry or Mazda 6 and the handling and suspension tuning always felt pretty good to me. Plus it has everything you need without having to spend $$$ on the Touring. Nice review.

Front and back eibach anti-roll bars, borla and Acuity Stage 2 shifter upgrades and this car becomes a real type R.

@@DownshiftPass I watched your Type R vid. That’s how I found you and subscribed. I love the CTR honestly. The more I drive the more and more any doubts, if they even existed in the first place, are dispelled. It’s one of those few cars with true character left without breaking the bank.

Wish I had this engine I have the 2019 1.5T 6 speed manual in Still Night Pearl. That pairing is so hard to find I had to drive from Philly to Princeton to get mine. I do love my car tho.

I want to find one and drive it again. I drove one when it first came out in 2018 and was underwhelmed but I would absolutely love to see if my feelings have changed driving one that has been broken in.
