Honda rejigged the CB1000R for 2018, giving it a fres neo-retro look and more power. Is that enough to pull buyers away from big players like the Aprilia Tuono V4, Triumph Speed Triple or BMW's S1000R?

Ya here in Australia, it’s $18,000.00 on road, I just brought mine 2 days ago, and I think it’s fantastic all around, both in power and looks, I also found that it turns a lot of heads in traffic, as it’s such a nice bike to look at.

Nice! Yeah it's a looker, for sure. Just needs a nice Yoshi exhaust and it would be perfect

Yeah I think it's underrated. I test rode the old model and loved it. Now they went and made a slightly better version with looks I much prefer. It may not be the most powerful or track focused bike but I think it's a great fast, sporty, amazing looking naked roadster that you can actually enjoy more and is traffic friendly.

Nah mate smooth as silk. If you like this one, I'd also recommend having a look at the new Suzuki Katana. Rode one for all of 10 minutes and it was mint. Similar engine to the CB1000R, in that the Suzuki has an older GSXR engine (K6 or 7 I believe) retuned for torque and mid range. Plus I reckon the Katana looks equally as good as the CB too, really depends on your personal preference on that front though

Did not have a quickshifter? I'm gonna admit, I am a noob, but what is that vertical dick-long thing at 0:00 if not a quickshifter?
