After buying and growing to being extremely impressed I cannot believe how much better HONDA is than pretty much every other motorcycle out there. Some are close but most aren't.

At last someone who talks plainly, knows what they are saying and how to say it without any self publicity or stupid jokes that makes you stop watching, keep it simple, plain, factual and clear, no jokes, it's the bike not you. OK !

honda has always been a bunch of weak crap that does not work. Maybe the 600 rr is the best bike they made for us....Everyone in the comments is saying what about the 51 ???? The bike that honda took Matt's showa guy and made him work for Nicky!!!! so they could win the championship. THEY NEVER CAN WIN WITHOUT SOME KIND OF ONE OFF BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the motogp bike is so great....why can't anyone ride it but Marc...If the cbr1000rrrrrrrrrr is so great well ask Bautista ! Like I said the 600rr is the only bike that ever really competed. Please change my mind. Dave. PS My wife loves our Goldwing and I do own some CRF450's.

Poorly documented history, lack of good footage, very limited model coverage and jumped over some of the most interesting and important years, bikes and milestones.

Honda have totally lost their way. Their bikes are SO good at what they do they've lost their character and soul. They are devoid of any personality. When I start my Royal Enfield or Moto Guzzi and watch them dance about the garage floor warming up I know they're alive.. Honda died years ago......

Thank you! I had a VF750F back in 1983, great bike but soft cams! So in 1991 I bought a VFR750F which I still own today! Honda V-4’s rule, and run like a Seiko watch! 🏍👍🇿🇦

what kind of windscreen is that? I've been looking for a replacement for the stock one that sits rather low. I've seen Double Bubble style, Corsa size, and or Forza size ones.

Hey, I've actually sold the CBR :( been horrifically inactive here, been meaning to make a video on my new bike for ages but haven't had the time to do it. I'm not sure what windscreen it was but I wasn't a big fan of the totally black plastic - made it really hard to see out of in full tuck!

Great review thanks! I've got a Street Cup that I've become a bit tired of. Test rode a Street Triple last week. Wow, awesome and lots of fun. So now looking to sell my bike and watching reviews. Also was nice to watch a kiwi review!

The RS makes 4hp more on the top end, but the R makes considerably more midrange, 8hp more on the R at 8.000rpm. They also found that the R makes 3Nm more torque too (from a comparative Dyno test between the R and RS from fast bikes mag). It's also apparent from the Dyno graphs that Triumph posted, where they also mentioned that the R makes more midrange, but they did not go into detail...

Good Video mate. I have just bought one of the other three in NZ. ( if you are right )I love it. I’m slowly restoring it to new condition and might do a video of it at some stage. It’s very impressive when you think of the age and just 400cc. I to bought mine site unseen from the South Island too.

I ended up buying this particular bike. Was that cheap because the dealership was closing, not to do with reliability. Can confirm that it's been fantastic for the last 18 months and 8000km, especially with a proper exhaust on it.

Straight to the point. It is in my opinion the best review of the 2018 CBR1000RR. I got one myself and you are correct in your observation. I am not taking my bike to the track therefore the base model is perfect for me.
@GearDriven4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The only thing I would add to the base model is a quickshifter and that's purely a personal preference. It's definitely not needed. How are you finding yours?
@Edwin69324 жыл бұрын
@@GearDriven I love it and I want to let you know that your review was part of the reason why I got my 2018 CBR1000RR.
