2018 Honda CR-V 1.5 Multiple Warning Lights On, P0341 Cam Timing Error pt. 1

This CR-V was brought in for multiple warning lights on and multiple fault messages on the dash. Testing leads to excessive play in the timing chain causing the cam timing error code. I checked for TSBs and recalls.

Hey all those warning lights, I had a car come in with the same issue but not with the timing chain issue but similar codes on the thermostat temp sensor a wire came out of the plug causing all the lights to come on same model and year Honda crv

Have they ever built a 4 cylinder that didn't have timing chain/belt issues? Hit a deer! Very common around here. Moose too.

so i got the same issue with a 2018 crv also after body had repaired (rt headlamp and paint) customer told them had no lights prior to the accident all the lights on that you had on my question is a p0341 in pcm will cause other lights to come on.

Yes P0341 in the Engine module will disable AWD, Traction Control and ABS, illuminate multiple messages and warning lights.

me I own crv 2017 front wheel bering was causing that probleme

You need to do a network scan of all the controllers to see what codes are setting.

Ended up replacing all timing components.

you also changed the actuators

@@jesushernandezsalguero9625 replaced chain, guides, tensioner, cam phasers, and necessary gaskets and seals. I did not change the oil control solenoids..

Well that depends on what truck and what you did in the swap. Give me some more details such as make model, year and what was swapped such as engine control module etc.
