Great video! love the mazda 3 one of the most slept on cars in the JDM car community, mazda itself has been underrated and the 2018 Miata mx 5 is sporty and just a joy to drive, will definitely be picking that up as my next car. my heart lies with mazda in general, more smiles per gallon than any car I've driven (ofc you will get performance from mercedes amg models, however the cost for repair on those is very expensive and proven to be unsustainable on a budget.)

the only thing i don't like about my '18 touring is that i don't have a digital speedometer. i dont understand why
@SSC30344 жыл бұрын

I think It has 184HP how could I bring the horsepower up to 200?
@oustandingsitter61066 жыл бұрын
lRAY1337 Bigger turbo, racing chip, high end intake, any of those really. Bigger turbo obviously will put you way past 200hp, around 263hp like the mazdaspeed, what i have. Racing chips are usually very costly but give you around 30+ hp. High end intakes will boost performance, some may increase hp a small amount, may put you at 200hp on the dot.
@MaipuruSyrup6 жыл бұрын
Well decals are 5hp each so 3 decals will bring you to 199 but if you take the bonnet off that is an entire 1000 hp extra.
@bvedant4 жыл бұрын

Buy the turbo mazda 3. Personally, I'd prefer Naturally Aspirated as the power band is more smooth and linear. No Turbo lag. It's either Naturally Aspirated or Supercharged for me.

I'd rather not have to wait for my car's engine to heat up and cool down before and after driving it, but that's just me...
@segoiii6 жыл бұрын
why is it so difficult to design a proper cockpit with normal gauges for speed, rpm, fuel and cooleant heat ? This only RPM gauge is ugly. Come on Mazda. The rest of the car is great.
@bvedant4 жыл бұрын
You'll get a light alerting you about when you're nearing dangerous coolant temp. I don't see how that's less favorable than dedicating a whole gauge just for it most of the time presenting a value somewhere in the middle. The central tachometer on the other hand would be important to someone who manages rpm closely when driving it in a sporting manner. I'm not saying I agree with their decision, but I can see why they made it

Am I the only one who doesn't see the big deal in the Mazda 3? I drove a few of them and they just feel like normal economy/commuter cars to me. It handles better than the Corolla, but I still didn't quite understand why people like them so much.
@JakeFromLateFarm6 жыл бұрын
bokkey45 -- You can still get a manual on the highest trim levels, its reflexes are neck-and-neck with the Civic for best in class, naturally aspirated power makes it a more reliable bet in the future and of course the styling. It's gorgeous. Not too many negatives here, unlike the Corolla.
@ankbrq6 жыл бұрын
Sharp throttle response, quick steering, great manuel and automatic transmissions (no cvt's) very well balanced handling and ride, sporty interior layout, low driving position etc. and i didn't have mentioned the design. These are the qualifications that normal commuter cars (like Corolla, Sentra, Lancer) doesn't have. So yes, i think you are the only one sir.
@macdee60406 жыл бұрын
Who says theyre the big deal? THEY ARE economy cars lol Not bashing on Mazda 3 but it is a great car for the money.
@DeadofWinter3216 жыл бұрын
bokkey45 - I don't. You're not the only one. It's a very dated design, doesn't hold resale value at all. Very noisy inside the cabin, especially at highway speeds. I just bought a Toyota Corolla over a Mazda 3 and am very happy with the Corolla.
@Bomenix146 жыл бұрын
Its one of the best in class and in style. Best in Quality and dependability. Yet people still waste thier money in Corollas.
