I want to buy Mazda 3 2.0, but I fear that the car would be too noisy. It was facelifted in 2017 with more sound-dampening materials, but I do not know if that did the trick.....Anybody?

Try to find ways to sound insulate the car. I live in Ottawa,Canada with horrible roads, pot holes, winter. I probably won't even care about this road noise, maybe only summer I'll notice it

It's still the loudest car in its class, if you want silence - avoid it.

@@sic22l That is true, and a wellknown issue. The same goes for its big brother Mazda 6. But in the latest facelift, it actually is more silent at highway-speed than most of its competitors. So conclusion is: If you want silence, go for the faceliftet versions. ;)

No, that version sadly isn't available in the Netherlands. It's the 2.0 version, GTM edition.
