~ BIOGRAPHY ~
Hi, I'm Jon. I'm a quixotic and outspoken 32-year-old who makes online video content for a living! You might know me as the creator of "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?", "The World According To Jon", or any of the other 12+ web shows I've produced. I'm a lover of movies, music (especially Bruce Springsteen), video games, traveling, the NFL, and of course, my family. I graduated from Boston's Emerson College in 2008 with a degree in Television Production / Radio Broadcasting. I'm also an Eagle Scout and occasional hiker. I currently live in Rockingham, NH with my wife Rebecca and daughter Emery.

First of all thanks for explaining awards ceremony in so much detail in short time............All actors who achieved awards definitely deserve awards as its their hard work which bring them that great moment..........Congratulations...........Big applause for best movie "Shape of water" team a well deserved movie really...........All actors and actresses looking fantastic my all time favorite Emma Stone and Ann....Godart (sorry for spellings)......looking stunning..........and best actor award Gary Oldman for movie Winston Churchil in the Darkest Hour........ Great Hollywood for giving us every year great movies and entertainment all over the world.........Those who hoped and nominated but not got any awards they are special heroes as now they try their best for next times and we love them all..........as in a big competition losers make winners but for us all are winners.........

Where have you been, Jon? I just remembered about you a couple days ago and was like "man I haven't seen a video from Jon in ages, and he was supposed to be doing KZbin for a living." I was laughing about Canadians saying "OUT (oot)" and "Monkey Balls" from the Let's Play series. I think you were the first I saw play through L.A. Noire which everyone is doing VR stuff on. Remembering the bright colored Ford Fiesta you got, and these baller Jon's World opinion videos.

Yeah, that Oscars intro was really meh compared to previous years. I hated that whole movie theater “bit”. If they’re seeing a movie during the Oscars, they obviously don’t give two shits about the Oscars. I also liked Frances McDormand’s way of highlighting the female nominees. Not by degrading the male ones like Emma Stone did. Regardless, I got 16 of my 19 predictions right, but I lost my three year streak of guessing Best Picture.

The biggest surprise for me was how Kimmel only threw shade at Matt Damon once the whole night. I figured that he would make a joke about Downsizing or one of his other two bombs of 2017.

If I would have had more faith in my predictions instead of what I thought the Academy would have gone for, I would have been 100% correct in my predictions I made. It was still nice to watch though.

The in memoriam segment I felt was rushed and poorly produced. Aside from them rushing through it, and then cutting away from the recording to see Eddie Vedder playing the piano (which resulted in not being able to see a bunch of the people who passed), they snubbed a few people. Adam West, who was better know for TV roles, did do quite a few films in his career. Tobe Hooper, director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist; Powers Boothe, who stared in many films and TV; Della Reese, while more know for her TV roles did do some film; and Chris Cornell, Lead singer for Soundgarden who also composed a few songs for film, were also left out.
