The Macan GTS is an awesome vehicle. Having driven a 2017 model around the track at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta I was blown away by how capable and fun this "SUV" could actually be. No one actually needs more sports car than this and you also get 4 seats and a lot of cargo room + all wheel drive!

My better half was dead set on a gla45 amg. She knew every option she wanted. Color, interior, even knew what wheels, tires, and tint the aftermarket was going to provide.... So I went and bought her a Macan Turbo. Optioned the way I wanted it, even picked the color for her. She loved it, and even if she hated it, No fucks would I have to give.

Cornbread 70's sadly yes. He's very agenda driven as well. He gave a speech at CES this year denouncing petrol engines. I believe he only does reviews no on hybrinds or EVs since that speech. Given why everyone cried for him to do a review yet he only does a segment where he reads emails about the latest tech.

The MFD in the instrument cluster, along with the center screen on the PCM have other settings for Google Maps, Street View, 3D buildings, ect... Which makes all the difference, if you had just fiddled with it. But the Voice-Control is a true test of one's sanity.

The Porsche Macan GTS has a 3.0L Twin Turbo V6. You seemed to have left out the twin turbo part. How do you think it gets that 360 HP? LOL Keep up the good work.

With the updated Cayenne having a new buttonless center stack and dash screens, perhaps the 19 model Macan will get the same treatment. Because, yes, the buttons and the dash and the infotainment on this here are rather outdated! You'd be better off waiting for next year's version, which should also get some exterior updates and refreshes.

I mean it a Porsche and a lower small version to the Cayenne. I'd move up to the Cayenne for some updated things. For European Models you have to wait a few years for them to catch up to U.S. Models of infotainment and things you expect free..

Comparing the S and GTS models - why do you have to pay £10,000 more for just an increase of 20 bhp/30 NM torque/3mph top speed. It doesn't make sense to me, or am I missing something?

piperbob2 draws some features from the even higher priced Turbo, GTS models have a lower ride hight aimed at better handling and has standard features such as the 20” Black spyder wheels

Yes, your forgetting the standard PASM air suspension, Turbo brake package, sport exhaust, bespoke wheels, etc. which would cost way more if you added those options to an S (and you would have less HP).

Hmmm I will stick to my BMW X3 m40i. The Porsche looks like the SQ5 that looks like Tiguan. The BWM nav works better too in my testing. Was hoping for more for the price.

@@Manc-fh5we the way the supercharged Q5 drove was amazing. Simply wonderful under all driving conditions. Snow. Potholes, winding road , long mindedness trips. How in hell does that dam car power oversteer? It’s against the laws of physics. To top it off it is reliable. I know 3 people with them. A 2016 v6 q5 drives better than the 2022 Tesla Y. The 23Y drives a tad better. The macan is fantastic maxed out but in day to day driving the 16 v6 q5 is better.

The pricing, with all the nickel-and-diming, is just insanity. And you'd think the base model would reasonable, but the base model, which is about $50,000, has less equipment than a nicely equipped GTI, which has roughly the same power. Add in a couple of common features like NAV, full leather seats, keyless entry (Yes, these are all options at $50,000!), and you'll be north of $60,000.

Based on the MLB Audi developed platform, so not VW. VW Group? Sure, but not their passenger division. The Macan and the Cayenne are Porsche’s bread and butter, and are what makes the Boxster, Cayman, and 911 still possible.
