2018 Ram 2500 Diesel / 6.7L Cummins/First Oil Change

I hope your oil filer was easier to go on than mine. I had to get my 18 years daughter with skinny arms to screw the filter in place. Not easily accessible at all Ram. My only beef with this truck. That Lisle oil filer tool is a necessity unless you want used oil all over your suspension. It cost $11.99 at Oreilly Auto parts. Their part number is 57180. Get it!

Don’t use a drain pan. Use a bucket. The rate of flow will overwhelm a pan and end up in your driveway. Found out the hard way

WheelieWilson such a waste of oil. Not even gas engines with 4 qt systems call for an oil change at 5K.

He's from New York what do you expect. The oil should be changed every 15000 miles.

I change mine at 11-15k. Depends on how much towing I do

What does Cummins suggest? Website says 7,500 k Dealership says 10k This is mopar synthetic....just saying
