2018 Subaru Crosstrek Tow hook install plus walk around

I have a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. I have tow hooks, but they are prettier than the ones shown here. They are yellow and made by raceseng

Great mod. Tape threads before painting over them. Also, you don't need to sand the entire red pin to the D-Ring because it's covered up by the D-Ring, spacers and OEM tug pin. Just sand the end opposite the threads. Some use blue Lock-Tite for the long pin.

l33america vtx rally 5 in satin bronze. With bfgoodrich ko2 235/75/15. Lifted 1" on eibach lift springs.

Did Subaru give you are hard time about the warranty ? I am looking to install a 1.5” lift and they started giving me all kinds of disclaimers

They shouldn't you trouble about the warranty except for the suspension. You are covered if the suspension didn't cause the problem.

The warranty won’t be voided unless the mod you did specifically caused the issue that had happen to your vehicle.

How do you keep the tow hook straight? When I tighten it its crooked

Alec Minnick you can kind of see I tighten it all the way and notice its crooked so I loosen it slightly to make it straight

Don't do it can have catastrophic malfunction. Plus the front one delays air bags. Don't know why Subaru put those on these cars.

Hello great video. I’m doing the tow hook right now. I saw it’s not fully tightened. Do you still have the tow hook? No one tried stealing it? It looks expensive so they may try. That’s my only concern. But I’m still doing it🤪. Let me know the status. Thanks

Leland Dionisio yeah its not tightened all the way but its really secure. My mother in law is the new owner of the car and it's still on there no ones tried to steal it
