Wow that is Beautiful 🤩!! I have a couple questions I’m hoping you can help me with . I am supposed to be purchasing a Pre owned 2018 Toyota Tundra . # 1 - The door decal ( SR5 ) is missing . Is this still the SR5 ?????? # 2- I’d like to add the rear decals myself ( TRD 4x4 ). Is that ok or is that false advertising haha . ( the dealer says it’s off road but I don’t trust him for some reason ). Haha So those 2 things are the only thing that kind of bug me . Other than its silver and I would love to have it painted black . Only 11,000 miles on this beauty . I’m right now 95% sure I want to make the purchase . Perhaps you can convince me to make final commitment. Thanks .

If it’s a 2018 without the bed decal, it’s not a trd off-road . It’s probably the base model.

@@ThaiRoney Thanks so much !! I was really Leary of the Tundra … Sounded too good to be true haha but there were so many unanswered questions. So literally the next day , my wife told me about this Titan ( she was at her dealer getting inspection on her Rouge and sent me a pic of the 2017 Titan ). I fell in love with the photos and went that same night . Drove back home with it haha . Thing is a BEAST !! Leather interior- fully loaded . Had 50 K miles on it . ( not too bad for a 2017 ). Anyway -- one of my sons best friends recommended where to take it for some upgrades . ( about 20 minutes from me ). They do everything!! So I’m thinking 3” lift / level and Black Rims ( with those silver dots around the wheel ), and either 33 or 35 fat tires . ( I want 35 but I won’t know for sure if they will fit on a 3” lift ). And then I’m thinking of those lights on top of cab . Really that’s about it . For now haha . I have not had a pickup in 15 years . So I’m pretty excited . I had traded in my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 back in like 2006/7 . The damn truck lost reverse !!! Been truck depressed for years !! So happy with this Titan !! And I hope to make these dreams of upgrading a reality soon ( I have one more child left in college … I think I can get everything done once she graduates ). 🙏🙏 But still cool even without .

Hey Tundra Fam!! So I bought a 2019 Tundra that appears to already have a leveling kit as well as air bag suspension in the rear. The tires that came on the truck from dealership are 35x12.5R18 Cooper Discoverer STT Maxx. There has not been a body mount chop and the front plastic inner wheel well panels protecting fog light etc. do not appear to have been modified at all. I haven’t heard any rubbing since I’ve owned the truck (5 months). Can anyone tell me why I’m able to run 35’s on my truck as it sits currently? Any advice is appreciated as I just bought a set of 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers I’m hoping to swap out the Coopers with before winter and just want to make sure I’m not setting myself up for a more expensive project. Thanks again!! Oh and I’m still running stock wheels if that helps.

Toyota told me lifting my 2018 Tundra would void my warranty because of issues with TSS. Is this true? If not, im doing this next month. I'm thinking of adding a 6"BDS lift
@88ROTORS6 жыл бұрын
Every dealer is different from my experience. If your dealer said that then I’m sure it’s true on the warranty. I think your next real concern is if the TSS will still work after the lift. These Tundras are just too boring stock in my opinion. The secret to keeping your TSS working normal is to lift the rear by 5” if you’re doing the 6” front. Let me know if you have any questions, we are familiar with these setups for the 2018+ Good luck!

Yes, you have to remove the front mud flaps. The rear mud flaps are fine. Sorry for the video, the ending may have fooled you because it showed the front mud flaps on. That clip was actually recorded before we did the BMC and removal of it but we edited it out of sequence in this video.
@xTheJmanChannel6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, was just checking. I've got a 3/1 lift on my 16' Tundra and with 34.3's I had to remove my front flaps and went ahead and removed the rear too. I thought maybe it was because of my wheel spacers, but I guess not. Sucks cuz I kind of like the look of flaps. Keeps the truck a lot cleaner too.
