2018 video - old Otis lift at Cavendish House, Cheltenham

Filmed in 2018. Here is the first old Otis at Cavendish House, which was still working perfectly at the time of recording. I've recently heard that it's sadly been decommissioned, which is such a shame!! Anyway, the lift doors don't shut so violently anymore and it sadly doesn't do pre-doors anymore, but otherwise it has a nice motor noise though a little quiet and it still feels nice and old.

I feel like that's had a controller replacement. It's too smooth to be running on its old controller

There are advanced DC Generator models which are able to level smoothly. Those versions are particularly rare though, so I’m not sure. An example of one is this Express lift in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnKmeJiwa8dkgqs Take a look at the smooth, controlled levelling speeds and see what I mean.
