One: it's a V6... Two: It's Turbocharged which are naturally mufflers. It sounds like a large marble stuck in a drain pipe at idle and a VQ when you rev it. Then pops like a burble tune

Depends on the car. Many american cars with v8‘s are great with just deletes. Mufflers, especially valved ones, I wouldnt delete. Also, in europe anything custom or so is illegal or very expensive to get legal so you have to get an exhaust with approval.

I think it was for function. Can't see. In mine I can't see much of the upper dash. Where all the indicator lights are. I didn't even see or know I was getting lights for the keyfob battery until my wife pointed it out

why did audi think putting a 2.9l v6 in a RS car was a good idea? i can see that engine in a S5, but an RS5? hell fuckin nah. that thing needs a v8, or a bigger v6

I agree. It should've had the 4.0T all along. But I guarantee thr VAG bosses told them they had to use the 2.9 since Porsche had already did the development on it to recoup some of the costs.

@@nick0164they are actually based off the same block. The RS5 is considered a 2.9 because the actual displacement is 2894ml while the b58 and 3.0t are around 2995ml. The stroke is shorter (different crank) and the 2.9 has less compression (different pistons)
