The Lincoln interior didn't impress me for a $80,000 vehicle, it's the equivalent of an "Eco" version of a knockoff Escalade, simply not worth it. I prefer the Escalade for its generous portions of plush leather, real chrome finishes, cutting-edge infotainment, and beauty for $20,000 more. Though obviously I would never be able to afford it in the first place xD.

No, column shifters are the best. They are all electronic but Column and standard shifters are the best. Column is the best for large vehicles to save storage space.

Drew Dude Hell yeah, part of the reason I like the Escalade is because it still has a column shifter. Most vehicles nowadays come with levers, buttons, and dials. The column shifter is still unique and classy.

Unfortunately they haven't really updated this vehicle. I was hoping that they would stop using so much piano black plastic. The only upgrade is the column shifter which has a leather trim compared to the all plastic from last year. They have the same sunroof (no panoramic option). They need to stop with the plastic caps on the rims but I do love the rim design. This is like a 4 year old design. Granted Cadillac is know for timeless designs but this is starting to look outdated. Hopefully 2020 is the year of Change for Cadillac.

the interior is so tacky!! the Escalade is a beautiful box on wheels then u get into that interior and you're instantly reminded it's just a trim above the surburban or denali. The Lincoln Navigator eats this for breakfast but this is still more stylish!

Not sure that I agree that this is the last year of this generation. The third generation went from 2007-2014, this generation was introduced in 2015...IMHO, they could easily keep this generation around until 2021 if a 7 year refresh (including 2015 as the first year of this generation) is their standard time frame.

Light colored Cadillac is always a good luck charm in Las Vegas, per my experience. Tell me about your experiences with start/stop and the cylinder deactivation on this model. I always disable both where possible. On recent GM vehicles, that can be accomplished by driving in M9 instead of D. Great review as always. Have you thought about an external mounted go pro for some of your test drive segments?

personally i think for a 100,000 they should come with front led turn signals and should be integrated into the headlights and not at the bottom replacing the fog lights, its just ugly in my opinion and a waste of fog light space, i do love the car tho very nice suv

This thing is a luxury beast. Personally, I think it beats Navigator. Only thing I don't like is the touch sensitive buttons for the climate and radio, but otherwise its a great suv. I cant wait to see what GM does to make it even better for the new gen.

I have a Cadiillac Escalade now and it's a great truck. I'm looking to get a new one next year. But the only thing that might stop me is the interior of the dashboard. It's boring and outdated. My wife has a Mercedes and the interior is unbelievable and drives just as nice as the Escalade. The Escalade dashboard doesn't even come close. So hopefully the 2020 steps it up. This is just my opinion.

Gorgeous car i had a 16' esv and i can say it is great except A) column shifter sucks B) don't buy the platinum you can get a nice one for 68-75k (under MSRP)

100k for halogen turn signals , no option for panoramic sunroof , rear entertainment systems look after market and cheap , gear lever is flimsy , 360 degree camera quality is unacceptable , no soft-closing door mechanism , 8 inch infotainment screen is too small , hud in gm green looks mad ugly , still a fan of these joints but not a fan of the price for a pimped out Denali xl

Thank you so much! I am purchasing a 2019 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury ~ Fully Loaded, one owner, low mileage, garaged, always serviced and maintained. I was looking for a Tahoe and a car dealership was looking for a Tahoe for me because I had an exterior and interior color I would not settle on. He sent me mutiple vehicles for months but they were not the “right” one. He called me recently and was so excited to tell me he found the perfect vehicle for me! He sent photos and it was what I wanted and soooooooo much more! When I went to drive the Escalade, I could absorb all the features and after watching this video I know he did not tell me 3/4 of them 😂 While I was watching this video I kept saying “what?”😂

The Navigator absolutely crushes the Escalade in all the areas to me and I’m a Cadillac fan and what the heck is with that out dated column shifter a deal breaker for me this is how Lincoln lost its way years ago with the Navigator by resting on their laurels the Escalade is nice the Navigator class leading.

I love the Escalades but don't like the shifter up on the steering wheel. Just never liked that setup. Feels old technology, like I'm driving my old 90s Chevy pickup truck. I like the shifter in the center console. And who would use the manual +/- shifter in that position? Yes, paddle shifters make sense. This setup makes no sense. That said, it's still an Escalade and beautiful. Drove one around for a week and loved it. Just can't stand that steering wheel column shifter!

The touch capacitive buttons are a mess and terribly distracting. Ford tried this with the fusion and went back to physical buttons. I’ve used that exact same setup in the XTS and it is a pain to use to do simple tasks like adjusting volume or changing the HVAC.
