Based of feedback on the channel, I decided to put a quick Video relevant to daily driving my 2019 Camaro zL1 1LE. Enjoy!

@@Wingsgo1212 I can't remember everything but I ended up getting rid of the car because a performance shop in northeast Indiana did a VERY BAD JOB on my car the last time it was in their shop but I had a Whipple supercharger, Kooks headers, catless x-pipe, AWE track exhaust, cam upgrade, ported heads, I think something with the fuel pump or lines but not the fuel injectors, Michelin PS4 tires and a few other little things that I can't think of at the moment. I hope this helps.

Anyone who has had aftermarket coilovers on a car will feel right at home with the moultimatic suspension. I've had ohlins,tein, and kw on my cars in the past and the multimatics are no firmer than those. Thanks for the video.

The thing is the zl1 1le takes a while to get use to. After two weeks I adjusted to the bumpy ride on stock tires. Then I drove my prius for four days and went back to the z1le and I had to get use to the bumpy ride again. Getting a set of Michelin ps4 this Friday to prepare for the rainy season.

With normal driving. How long does the tires last? I had a 18 1ss camaro and the rear tires would show cord after 1,000 miles+. Thinking on getting a used one. Any tips to look out for on purchase.

Thank you for the information. I am in the market for muscle like the ZL1 1LE or the GT350 but the fact the people talk and complain about the hard ride in the Camaro is making me think twice. LOL I daily drive a 2017 WRX STi which ride a little hard but once I change the tires for a street ones and adjust the PSI is just fine.

Ceansilor Caso zl1 1le is a track/street racing car. The suspension is stiff unless you’re moving fast, faster you go smoother the ride will be over bumps

Who on Earth buys a car without test driving it? Every time I buy a nice car they tell me I can't test drive it and I tell them I'm walking out then they hand me the keys. It's not hard. These cars are not flying off the dealership lot. You are the buyer, they want your business, have all the power.

You don't have all the power that you think you do. For every buyer with your attitude there are dozens of others who can commit to a purchase without a test drive. A Dodge dealer would not let me test drive a Hellcat Redeye so I threatened to walk. They said, "Bye." And that is how a lot of large market dealers operate, especially with expensive cars. You want to test drive a Chevy Spark? No problem. You want to test drive a brand new Corvette ZR-1. It is not going to happen at the vast majority of dealerships and threatening to buy someplace else will get you nowhere.

I got my new 2019 zl1 1le manual for $65k before tax. That's $8k off the MSRP of $73k. That z1le was sitting on their lot for a while so they were desperate to sell it. They wouldn't budge from $66k which had discounts already but I said if they won't drop it to $65k I'm leaving to buy the widebody Challenger hellcat and once I leave I wont come back and started to call the Dodge dealership. The salesman chased me outside and agreed to $65k!! 😉

I got lucky and picked mine up second hand for a killer deal. The local Chevy dealers near me are marking almost if not more than 10k off msrp. Its a steal for what you get.

It is true....I bought a ZL1 1LE camaro and changed the tires to michelin and the ride changed a lot...hey if u get on it u will not realize how fast u gone because it feels like u not moving at 130 mph. I did it the second day I got before I changed the tires.

the springs on the 1LE are 3 times stiffer than the normal zl1 ... maybe you should change to softer springs? i would guess it helps a lot and with these springs its easy to find good ones

Yup a modest reduction in rate with Hyperco or Swift would be a great option. But the rears have to match the dimensions. The YYZ rears might work.

I would have liked to see the tread pattern on the tires you switched to. You are talking about tires - show me the tires. I just bought a set of Goodyear’s yesterday to replace the original tires. 9,500 miles on the originals.

I try not to go to fast in my camro because you know it's made for going a crazy speed. But I'm being completely honest here I just got mine for daily driving. One thing about my camro is that you will NEVER see it on a track. I brought it becusse it looked nice the max I've went with it was 65 to 70.

Feels great. I tend to drive in track mode all the time. I like the way the car downshifts as you slow down. Snap, crackle, and pop!

What was your stock tire pressure?? I purchased a ZL1 1LE a coupe of months ago and what really helped the ride quality for me was lowering the stock tire pressure down to 32psi. From the dealer they were aired up to about 40psi for some reason. It softened up the ride quite a bit. Made the car much more livable.

It had 39 PSI all the way around. I removed air down to 32 psi. It did feel better after I did that with the stock tires. I’m now running on the 4s with 30 psi all the around. Good call out on the PSI.

enjoy it your beast don't forget if you are go to the track you have to change the oil 5w50 and if you drive only in the streets use 5w40 and change your Launch Control .. RPM for very fast 0.60 under 3.0 seconds 👍💪 the ZL11LE 10L90 it's ready to beat the GT500 Mustang

I came from an RS which had a pretty doo-doo suspension. The ZL1 1LE feels planted for sure where as the Focus felt po-go-ish. I'll let you know in a few months how I've acclimated to the 1LE.

@@gbass7328yeah I mean it’s a totally different car going from an upright sitting 4 door to a very low, leaned back, coupe. The blind spots are ridiculous if you’re short (5’6” like me), but definitely a blast to drive. I would not go to an SS from a Focus, I would only go to the ZL1 otherwise the experience will not have been worth the trade off. The stuff suspension on the 1LE is very tolerable as a drive if you don’t live in a state with absolute garage roads. I live in Michigan and I don’t have that rough of a time. Mine is actually for sale right now because I’m getting older and am looking into a truck. It was a fun car but… life happens I suppose :/ always time in the future for a vette or something.

Absolutely! They can be pricey, but well worth it. Nothing like Michelin 4s tires. Best in the market.

I can't say I really want to take any stock in this video after the presenter says "it has Bilsteins" - It has dynamic spool valve type shocks from Multimatic. Completely different animal than Bilstein shocks.

Okay I can't take it anymore. I sat through 5 minutes of crappy advice before hearing any mention of what the title suggests this video is about. Dude you bought a track car, did you think it was going to ride like a quadrifoglio? I daily this car and it's not a big deal. Plenty of people daily this car. It's a track car, you have to expect some NVH if you want this level of performance for this price. Why else would you buy it? No one on the forums say "drastic improvement" from tires. They say "slight" improvement and 1000 treadwear rating would be incredibly long life, you mean 100 treadwear. Look dude -- you have a classic case of "I should have bought the regular ZL1 but I liked the wing". It happens to a lot of people. If you're not going to track the car, return this ZL1 1LE and get a regular ZL1 and then just buy the wing and front canards and pretend its a ZL1 1LE. I promise you'll be much happier and your videos won't be about a guy complaining because he bought the wrong car.
