Y'all should do a no BS shootout with this and the Sportsman 1000.. It would be see cool to see: EPS vs DPS Tri-mode throttle comparison AWD/4WDs Stock tires Ride components and rider experience I bought my '18 Sportsman 1000 in large part because of your guys video... Both are killer machines but both have negatives especially when compared directly with the other.... ..

We really appreciate you taking the time to watch. It's flattering that we had an impact on your purchasing of the Sportsman. We hated to see it go. During our upcoming Can-Am test we will try and give some insight as to how we think the two machines compare but we are also planning on doing a full-on shootout between the two. Check out our king of value shootout from a few years back if you're interested in checking out the format. It's pretty detailed. We saw that you said you wanted to come ride it and that we should come check out your local ride Park. Where are you from?

@@ATVonDemand Thanks for the reply! Heck yeah I want to ride it, or at least see it in person! I'm in Elizabethtown KY, the local park is Blue Holler Offroad Park in Mammoth Cave KY. They have several tracks and about 1500 acres of trails with a variety of difficulty levels..

The owners are friends of ours, they let us shoot videos there while the park is closed if we pre-coordinate with them..

A2Z OFFROAD only 1k models the 850 and 650 are cable. Personally I hate drive by wire and honestly even a 650 is more then enough power

Well $14,000 is a lot of money, if you took almost any 4 by 4 ATV added beadlock Wheels, aftermarket shocks, winch, heavy-duty bumpers, handguards, and exhaust, and a fuel module surely you would be getting close to $14,000 including the price of the vehicle. As a matter of fact, unless you start with an 850 or 1,000, you would probably be hard-pressed to build a machine that would come close to it as far as performance. So while pretty expensive, for the money, it's probably hard to beat. Even good mountain bikes cost 7 grand these days. Compare this XTP 1000 with an XT 650. For the additional $3k+, you the beadlock wheels, aftermarket shocks, drive by wire, and I'm not sure about the exhaust. That's quite a jump in price for that especially when the XT 650 is already a very capable machine. I'm not taking anything away from the XTP 1000. But I believe you can have 90-95% of that machine for 30% less money.
