I was looking forward to this video but once you said to access the bulbs by going through the fender well, you lost me. KZbinrs, there is no need to go through the fender well. In fact, it’s much easier and time saving to pop the hood. This truck has the most room by the headlights that I have ever worked on. You’re welcome!

Added these to my 21’ LT Trail Boss. After about 8months now, I’m getting CANbus issues. Going to put the incandescent turn signal and Reverse lights back in and see if it goes away.

Few things: 1) This is ot the easiest way to install. Simply pop the hood and look for the plug you need to turn. Dont waste ti.e removing wheel well liners. 2) My 2019 RST had T444M style bulbs which are dual filament even though they dont act as a DRL. The product link is to T4400As which is not correct. Annoying, but Lasfit is sending me replacements.

The stock bulb is filament, but turn signal function only. So, it's ok to install 7440 LED bulbs. Don’t be surprised how this guy said it’s a dual filament bulb it’s actually a single filament the trucks system makes the turn signal and hazards functions works... I use the same supplier as lasfit ,I walked in one day and he said they were the manufacture-manufacture means you have a warehouse that u own and make them--lasfit is just a supplier who may design a led and give company who manufacturers ideas on led I’ve worked with the company 10 years ...and yes they are the best just don’t always believe what they say

how long would it take for these to start hyperflashing with continued use? I am not sitting all day with them on, but want to know if I get a flat tire on the side of the road for an hour, I dont run into a shutdown or hyper flashing situation

You don’t need a resistor necessarily. I always prefer going about changing from a thermal flasher to an electronic or low-load flasher first. That will also work.

Hmm?? Could you tell more details how you changed from a thermal flasher to an electronic or low-load flasher? Actually, if the wattage of the LED bulb is not the same as OEM halogen bulb, the trip-compturer checks the wattage is wrong, then the LED bulbs will keep hyper flash or it gives out the error code on the dashboard to warn the driver the turn signal light does not work normally.

Lasfit Auto Lighting it depends on what vehicle you have. Not every vehicle uses the same turn signal flasher. However, if you can locate where your turn signal flasher module is, you can simply swap it out with a new electronic flasher. They are also marketed as “LED compatible “ flashers. Novita makes several different types. A lot of the more recent Ford/GM trucks and SUVs from the 1990s-2000s use an EP27 flasher.

Actually, the factory lights work as turn signals only, no other functions(DRL or parking light). So, the switchback LED bulbs do not work. If the factory lights work as turn signals and DRL/parking light, then the switchback LED bulb will work.

I bought the 7440 for my 2020 Chevy Silverado. I was in a left turn lane the other day for quite a while (Maybe 5 minutes) and my turn signal started to hyper flash inside and out. Is this normal?? Thought these are anti hyper flash bulbs. Talked to support and they said this is normal due to the bulb getting too hot and it should go back to normal which it did.

Hi, it's normal that LED bulbs get hot when they are working. The OEM halogen bulb also are very very hot when it is running. These LED bulbs are designed with temperature-control system, which keep them work in a proper tempertature range. When they overheat, they will hyper flash to remind you it's time to have a rest. 😆😆😆 You can turn off f about a few minutes, then start again. This design will keep these LED bulbs last longer.

It keeps the LED bulbs work normally in a proper temperature range. After running 8~12 minutes, if the LED bulbs get hot, it will start hyper flash. Don't worry, it just reminds you it's time to turn off the turn signals to have a rest. When you turn on turn signals after a couple of minutes, they will work again.

The brightness is the most important factor for turn signals. Brighter turn signals are more visible to other drivers, much safer when you're driving. LED bulb is much brighter than halogen bulb. The amber color is easier to draw other drivers' attention. Also, these LED bulbs are electricity saving lamps, lower power than halogens, larger lumens output.More and more high-level vehicles come with the factory LED lights.

When in use it producing heat but as soon as you turn it off the heat does not stay there it will continue to radiate until its gone also all modern headlights have ventilation holes on them to help prevent fogging of the lenses but this can also allow moisture in the headlight as well which can be seen on most cars depending on the humidity of the area it resides in.

2:45 that is worng it was easy to access up tell the GMT 900 style then you have to take it apart to replace bulbs with the GMT900 you need to hire people with tiny hands

It's easier to reach the turn signal lights by opening the fender liner. As shown in the video, our guys could replace bulbs 😂 What's your truck model and year? Because for different model/year, the housing structure/housing space is different.

You can change the bulb out from the top of the engine bay lol no tools needed
