@@leroycolejr6336 yeah, you could get a stripped down Red Eye Widebody for about $80k (assuming no dealership markups) but would have cloth seats, no nav, no sunroof, nothing, lol. You have to add all that back in. Dodge messing with our minds.

Florida Maddogg you know that the dealership is going to mark it up for a few years and after that they are going for cheap.another thing that I have noticed that all the focus is being on this car but you never or barely hear about the hell cat chargers
@floridamaddogg5 жыл бұрын
@@leroycolejr6336 true....the dealership markups will last about a year or a touch more. They will sell for MSRP there after, but used ones will be out and be able to get one for a little cheaper. I'm a dodge fan. I've owned 2 Challengers now and current owner of a 2016 Hellcat 6-Speed manual. I am a manual only gut so that's why the Demon and Red Eye have never appealed to me that much. Plus the price of those cars is too much for me. There are videos of people fully optioning a Red Eye and was $95k. Jaw dropping price IMO. The current platform will only be out until 2021 so will be interesting to see what goes on after this. I expect lighter platform and less overall power. Things always happen to the Challenger first as its the Brands Halo model, but Chargers will be getting upgrades and new models within the next year. The chargers are good if you have a family and need more backseat space. I got my Hellcat with 1059 miles and was perfect condition and paid a price that saved me from the first 2 year depreciation. That is the way to go! Look for gems but I would not get higher mileage models. For me, high mileage is over 10k miles. I'm very particular about my cars. Good luck!

Lose some weight & add drag radials with the 3.08 rear gear it's a low 10's car........then add tune and smaller pulleys and we're talkin high 9's. Pretty damn impressive for a near 4700 lb vehicle with big driver.😎👏 Plus & Best Of All.....its the Only Performance car on the market today, that truly looks like an old school True American Muscle car, & with comfort, unlike the more modern looking Chevys & Fords of today. Great Job DODGE!😎👏
@GyroPyro1212124 жыл бұрын
The best published figure for a stock redeye is 10.8 seconds. This is good, but with a $70k price tag, it’s not the best value. You can buy a Lebanon Performance Ford Supercharged Mustang GT with 800 hp for less than $60k with a warranty and have a true low 10 second car. A basic base model GT with the same 800 hp can even be had for under $50k. Plus, at early half a ton lighter, the Mustang GT will handle far better. Just a set of slicks and skinnies on that LPF800 GT and you’ve got a high 9 second car for $50-60k. The redeye is a beast, but the challenger chassis has remained virtually unchanged for 12 years. It’s time for it to drop 1,000 lbs.
