2019 F 450 Toy Hauler Towing Mileage Before and After Banks Derringer, Ram Air, and Pedal Monster

JUMP AHEAD TO 5:35 TO GET STRAIGHT TO THE NUMBERS (and skip my blabbering). In this video, I review the real-world mileage of towing a 45'6" 20,000# Jayco Seismic 4113 Toy Hauler with a 2019 F-450 to Florida and back. On the first trip, the truck was in completely stock configuration. For the second trip, I added the Banks Power Cold Air Intake, Pedal Monster, and Derringer Power Module with (2) iDash Gauges. I did not get the improvement in fuel mileage that I was hoping for, but it sure made a big difference in how the truck pulled a heavy load! The Derringer added a lot of power when accelerating onto the highways, and pulling up the hills in the mountains. Very pleased with the added confidence that provides!

Great info & data. You used mode 6 High Performance, and stock. Doesn’t the other modes include an economy mode(s) for times when higher power isn’t needed? I’m waiting for the model for 2020+ Super Duty, so I have zero experience on Derringer.

There are 6 power modes on the Derringer, with stock being the lowest. No economy mode. I would think they'd have a model for the 2020+'s by now!

How do you like the Tire Minder? You have the small caps that replace the valve caps? I have a F350 DRW and a Triple Axle 43ft Fuzion....so if im going to pay to read 12 wheels, i want a decent setup from day 1.

It uses the caps on the valve stem. System works great on my 46' Jayco Seismic 4113. Saved me a couple times already.
