I love my Kwik Trip, not only 4 pumps on the main pumps but 2 diesel pumps for semi’s & I always fill at the semi pumps because they have #1

Do you have the high capacity trailer tow package? And do you have the 4.30 gears or 4.88? -2014 f350 chassis cab owner. Oddly, Ford quotes the 2017 4.30 towing about 26.5k and the 4.88 at 22.5k without trailer tow package. . . I'm about to be towing about 22k here in a bit hauling cars, want to know if it's an option. Thanks.

btate 19k I have the 19,500gvwr which is as heavy as you can get. Besides the truck being detuned it does great.

leardi58 Hwy buddy thanks. The order was picked up on November 14. Build date is December 30 and middle of Jan delivery. But... I may have changed my mind and think I wasn’t to get the Lariat Sport with the Tremor package. But that would set me back 2-4 weeks further. Don’t know what to do! Lol

Ol man trick is to just buy a RAM 5500 instead of buying a Banks Derringer (non smoking gun) here. We have to ask ourselves "Is it a safe transportation to and from work and shop that you actually have to have a booster for more power"? Or up a hill that you would be the only one on that road and you have to go faster?

Stephen Bradley Haha well ol man you have been around long enough to know that the truck did just fine before I had the tuner. It’s honestly more about being able to see everything I need to know on one screen. And if I can save some fuel along the way. That’s great!

@@workplaytv True, it's got the gears to pull you up. Not me but my friend has pulled his skid steer up to 1200 metres and with a 15% grade with his 3500 chassis gvwr 10,000 gooseneck trailer. Maybe you should have stayed with the 430 gears for better mpg. I'll watch the two videos when I get home, I can't focus on my phone without the service dying up island in Port Hardy.

Stephen Bradley Haha sounds good. The 4.44 would have been the other option in the 550 chassis. It may have helped not sure. I am pretty happy with the truck at this point.

@@workplaytv As long as your happy with the truck then that's all that matters to yourself but 444 would have helped a lot with mpg. I'm just home after taking 4 1/2 hours instead of the 2 1/2 hours. Lots of Elk on the road (only one choice here, no detours) Highway 19 must have had a dozen on the road to get away from the Wolf's. Worse than hitting a Moose cause they are level with the hood. Both would kill you but a Elk cow would make you suffer a bit longer.

No I understand you there. But you’re only talking about a 50hp tune lol! There are plenty of tunes that add power from idle to wide open throttle and achieve better fuel mileage. I just think it would be like a game of catch up with the added power varying like that. Especially on cruise control. Wonder what it would have pulled that hill like if it was an addition 50hp the whole entire time? 🤔 That would be a pretty cool comparison!

Curt Yeah I hear ya it’s very quick if you watch the meter there is no delay. Also most tunes that actually add the power abd mileage they are stating are deleted.
