For the final time in 2019, Matt, Tommy and Jess round up the F1 season and present some alternative awards chosen by you.
Who will win the "Zero to Hero" award? What was the best race of the year? Who came out on top in ABCDEF1?

Except the precedent for more aggressive racing was set in Austria, then all of a sudden people don't like hard racing when a Ferrari wins, then they like it again when they don't. A warning flag was given and he didn't do it again, the 2018 penalty is irrelevant because of the new way penalties are managed.

Henry whatzal last year had some great races: Bahrain, China, Baku, Austria, Britain, Germany, Italy, USA, Brazil etc. It was definitely a more consistent season than this year (the highs may not have been as high but the lows weren’t as low either). Plus there was a gripping championship fight and Vettel’s capitulation was also entertaining too.

Well, I think one of Lando's DOTD when he DNFd was less interesting (valid is harsh) than Nico's. Nico's was a nice goodbye after 10 years. Were all of Max's DOTD "valid" or did any of them hijack something that belonged to someone who had a better performance? It's all very subjective. Carlos did amazing races and never got one.

JedgamesGUY no he’s saying Hamilton prob shouldn’t have got a penalty given the circumstance because he would have had to do a whole lap with bits of front wing falling off and chose to do the sensible thing and pit. That stewards call was bs. As was the use of a black and white flag for Leclerc s shit defending in monza and the stewards saying they will use it more.... and then it never got used again. Also how these guys can say vettel in Canada is even slightly a bs call is stupid. It was the same as max vs Bottas last year in monza or max on kimi in Suzuka. Both was 5 second penalties and so was vettels. People just got upset for the wrong reasons.... they didn’t want to see another merc win so bad that they didn’t care that any other situation would have been a penalty. If that had happened in the midfield it wouldn’t even be a thing right now, would have been forgotten.
