I'm the dame with being symmetrical my eyes just like it that way! I love your ideas, when we moved into our house last year we wanted to change the carpet, it's variegated blue, the whole house was blue, not that blue is bad, we painted the walls in tan and chocolate, well my husband ended up having health issues, so we didn't get to do the carpet, week now he is on permanent disability and won't get to go back to work, all this to say, I try the decorate to try to take the eye away from the carpet! Lol💖 I love what you did with the mantle, we don't have a fireplace but you always have great tips! God bless you

The mantle looks beautiful and is very creative. I like the suggestions you gave on your thought process. I'd like to see a video of what you do with the stuff removed at the end of each season. The candlesticks...will you keep them and recycle them for other projects, or return them to the thrift store? If you take apart a wreath you made, do you recycle the flowers? What is the system for storing items for later use? How do you decide what you will keep to recycle into another project?
