Best way to clean the Husky liners is to use a spray cleaner called "Kaboom". Typically used for cleaning bathrooms. Can be purchased almost anywhere bathroom cleaners are sold. Spray on, let it sit for a minute or so, run a brush over it & hose it off. makes it clean as new even on winter salt.

Love the Husky mats in my Ram. They do a great job keeping the carpet clean and do follow the contours of the floor well. I really like the grip and non slippery surface as well. I had a set of weather techs in a company work truck. I didn’t care for how slippery they were.

I’m a heavy equipment diesel mechanic and have been lookin into gettin a liner for my Silverado. I’ve been watching these type of review videos cause they really help. I prefer these type of videos over reviews on the internet or KZbin comments from people that want a liner cause they don’t want to get a little water on their carpet from the rain on their driveway or during the walk back from the grocery store to their car. So far in leaning towards Husky.

They don’t have high edge in the rear end. Not good at all for restaurant deliveries with 50-70 in and out daily. It does not have time to dry out. Cost me a$1000 job for redoing the wire because water got on the floor carpet and froze. It corroded all the wires around. Then, I had the weathertech. Today I discovered the Tuxmat. It’s deep all around.

I'm honestly not sure why they even put carpet in trucks these days. Why not just put this 'weather tech' or the Husky liner material or any material really, make it removable, and then on top of that you can have floor mats with carpet on them that are also removable. So if you want 'nice' in your truck you can throw your carpet floor mats in there, and if they get dirty you just remove them and clean them easily. That just makes more sense in my mind.

2016 f150 - I hate the weathertech liners because contrary to what he was saying they do not clean up and stay black. Also the edges have curled for my rear mat and the driver side does not fit snugly to anything it just slips around loosely on the floor even with the locking tabs clipped. I have tried scrubbing with lots of soap and they stay looking a dingy brown once dry. I have tried heat and pressure and opposing curls etc to make the edges of the rear mat stay down and nothing works. I have since thrown them away and purchased a set of the OEM rubber floor mats and they have performed far better in every aspect

Have had many sets of Husky and one of Weathertek. Prefer the Husky. Although I prefer the harder plastic line of Husky. Recently bought a full set with cargo area mat of 3D Maxpider which is similar construction as the Aries. The texture looks like carbon fiber and looks awsome. Half the price of Weathertek and Husky and the fit is just as good. Like the previous commenter, diluted Simple Green in a spray bottle is the way to clean em'.

I spray them off at the car wash and they look like new. We have Weathertech in my wife's Expedition, and while they are a good mat, they get slick easily and they tend to crawl around some. I prefer the Husky, especially for almost $100 less than the Weathertech.

Great video. I actually switched from Weathertech to Husky after watching one of your earlier videos. Powerwashing my Husky liners gets them looking like new again with no scrubbing. Weathertech never got completely clean no matter what method I used. I also like that my feet don’t slide on Husky, no matter the weather. With Weathertech, I had to be sure to hold on firmly when getting in or out of my truck in cold or snowy weather, or else I risked looking like a guy slipping on a cartoon banana peel. So, I prefer Husky. Never heard of the third brand discussed here.

I've had both weathertech and husky and husky wins hands down for me. I don't really care about cosmetics, they're floor mats. The weathertechs were slippery, and I noticed after a while on mine, the material started to break down and started feeling sticky. Not just the surface, the coating was actually starting to deteriorate and you could feel the stickiness on your fingers if you touched them. The Huskies are a nice soft rubber that is much safer IMO. Your foot won't slip around at all, and it's comfortable on the foot for long drives. My current huskies are 6 years old and despite looking a little dirty, are the same as when I bought them and will last the life of the vehicle.

Returned the Husky did not fit, large gaps on outside rim, small gaps on tunnel side and rear. I did like their design and finish but the gap on the outside was just too much and it was like a triangle, 1.5 inches toward center, and about two inches long, just before dead pedal. Aries does not make one for my vehicle. Tried Smartliner, outside fit was almost over three quarters of an inch for driver side, passenger to get it connected to retainer cause a bulge in the middle. Now, waiting for the dreaded Weathertech which is not my ideal mat, but better to have it than destroy the carpet with winter coming. But if you can get a husky that fits....go for it.

I had a set of Weathertech in a Nissan Leaf. I kept them when I returned the car off lease and recently sold them to a co-worker. I have a 2003 Ram 2500 standard cab Tradesman and it has the factory rubber floor mat. You can and will wear these out over time, so I wanted the floor tray to protect it. Weathertech says to not use theirs over the rubber mat. I ended up buying the Husky, but realized that those spikes on the back would do serious damage to the OEM floor mat, so I sat down and carefully cut off every one of them. The mats move around, but not much.

I have NEVER come across a weathertech mat I’ve liked. They always slip and slide, get bent out of shape after sitting in a hot vehicle in a few months, and allow a bunch of grit past and onto the carpet. I have Husky liners in my Tundra, and the only time the mats move is when I take them out to clean. I’ll admit, the Weathertechs looks better, but I need a floor mat to be a floor mat.

I usually buy Weather Tech mats but decided to try something different when I bought my Ram in 2014. I bought the Aries mats at that time for the look. They look great new but they do not hold up over time. At the base of the accelerator pedal the top layer as well as the foam center has worn completely away and you see the bottom layer. It is only a matter of time till I am through it completely. They also do not clean up well. They seem to discolor easier than the others, (I have had Husky mats as well). I feel the 3 year warranty is that long for a reason. My last truck I had for 11 years had Wether Techmats, still looked great when I sold it. I will be getting a set of Weather Tech mats soon for my Ram and getting rid of the Aries.

I've got Weathertechs in my 2006 Tundra. They fit perfectly and have performed very well. They are a bit hard and slick, and, after 170,000 miles are looking VERY worn. I can't really hold the wear against them and I'm very happy with their performance over the years. The Weathertechs in my 2009 Rav 4 have never fit well (it has a tray-type floorboard and perhaps that is why), so I'm not very happy with them. I went to the Husky x-Act in my 2019 F350 because the reviews said they fit that model of truck better than the Weathertechs. They do fit perfect, are easy on the feet on long trips (soft), and non-slip. Mine look great now, but I only have 5,000 miles on them. I recommend checking the reviews for your vehicle and buy the one that seems to fit best in that particular truck/car/etc.

I have a set of Weathertech in my 2004 Tundra Crew Cab. They really fit great! I have had them for about 8 years. They are holding up well. I have one issue with them after I took the truck to a car wash a coulple years ago and the front mats were washed at the car wash. The material has become very sticky/tacky to the touch. I tried rewashing them at home to ensure there was no cleaner left on the mats. I used mild soap and once dried they were still sticky/tacky to the touch. Other than that, I would totally recommend them.

I had Weathertech floor mats in my 2005 Chevy 1500 and right from the git-go the edges of the mats decided to curl up and away from the contours/shape of the floor. It wasn't so much a function issue as it was an appearance issue. Their 'laser fit' claim sure took a major hit on that aspect of their claim-to-fame, right? The redeeming quality of Weathertech is that they can match colors of vehicle interiors, more or less, giving the consumers options. I got rid of the truck ultimately but one possible resolution for the curling edges is to use screws to mount the mat edges into the sides of the floor pan of the vehicle. But, that's obviously a personal choice! Seeing other comments about Weathertech's intransigent attitude towards their customers leads me away from buying their products.

One you missed is Rugged Ridge. I bought WeatherTechs off Amazon for my 07 F-350 and I didn't like them at all. The front mats weren't super horrible, but they didn't fit nearly as well as they should for the price. The rear mat was completely worthless. It was way too small for the space and slid around so much it would be a serious safety hazard for anyone getting in or out of the truck. I sent them back and ordered the Rugged Ridge mats. They fit much better and will contain a lot more mess than the WeatherTech. They have a deep tread that looks almost like a mud tire, so they just look like something that should be in a truck. I also have the Husky center hump mat. It's pretty flimsy, but does a good job of completely covering the hump and I think they're the only one who makes a mat for the hump.

Ive had both Weathertech and Husky mats, and in my opinion, the Husky mats are so much more functional and have a better lifespan than weathertech. Almost all the Wethertech mats I have seen will peel and sag on the edges, while the rubber texture of the husky has so far held up after 1 1/2 years of ownership. I dont know, but to me, it seems Husky has the better product, and thats why I will continue to use them in my truck.

I had a set of WeatherTech and would slip on them any time it was wet. The Husky set didn’t do that. The Husky fits well
