It also has it downside. Beyond 200 km/h the rpm are so high that both torque and HP drops of dramatically. One would then state, the ST is not about topspeed.

Throttle indeed, shorter gears are fun to use if the shifter is nice to use. I’ve been in the new ST at Goodwood, the shifter feels nice, but not as good as the mustang Bullits.

I was all for Japanese cars, and then for no reason I bought a focus 1.6t Ecoboost 182 hp, and I must say that I was very nicely surprised. Great handling, very nice engine with generous torque, composed ride, etc... It's getting close to 90.000km without any issue. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Ford, certainly this little pocket rocket 😁

Top speed isn't the best? The guy in the video just got almost 150mph out of it. Bearing in mind it has 1 less cylinder than the previous gen ST and is 100cc down in size. Majorly impressive in my opinion :)

under 1500 rpm it's pulling very bad above 1500 rpm it's pulling good and if you're around 200rpm on light throttle and press the gas pedal to the bottom, it takes about 1s to build boost and then it goes well. It is like a typical small turbo engine. If you are not in the turbo range, it is like driving a na engine under 1000rpm.

I too have an MK 7 and stock, I have never seen anything more than 230 however hard I may try and I drove the new one as well and to be honest, the new one with the LSD is much better than the MK 7, sticks to corners way better, only issue is the steering is not as good as MK & but the rest is way way better

Marcel Ma ja, meiner hat jetzt 5000km runter und ich hatte ihn schon Tacho anschlag, also 260Kmh was natürlich nur echte 245 sind oder so! Aber für einen Fiesta ist das schon was! Das tolle ist, das man immer die ganzen 100.000 Euro SUV die ein dicken machen auf der Bahn und bei 250kmh abgeriegelt sind schön versehen kann weil der Fiesta einfach mal schnellerist 😂🖕🏻

ATE Continental Freins à disque avants ATE Continental qui équipent la Fiesta nouvelle neuve actuelle:voyez ,où plutôt écouter ce qui se passe lorsqu'on freine,en terminaison de freinage,c'est assourdissant,à croire qu'il n'y a pas de garniture et que cela frotte plaquette sans garniture contre disque sonore,et ceci n'est qu'une partie de ces freins lamentables (car c'est tout le temps de l(année),car EN PLUS ,à l'arret,en tournant le volant à droite, comme à gauche,on doit suporter un craquement métallique en démarrage de braquage,tout le temps aussi.! Pour le chef d'atelier,c'est normal...voyons donc! mais après des milliers de kilomètres maintenant,les crissements de tôle en terminaison de freinage sont toujours làl et aussi dans les braquage de roues à l'arret! Pas la moindre amélioration! Mais ceci n'est pas sans conséquence pour Ford,car à cause de ces ATE Continental,autour de moi,plus personne ne veut prendre une Ford neuve.Qui voudrait avoir,à vie,une voiture qui fait un tel vacarme?! Qui plus est,à faire fuir un acheteur,invendable!
