2019 Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 Ride Review

Better late than never, we finally have an answer to the replacement for the Impulse. The 2019 Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 might not be exciting on paper, but when you take it out to ride, especially in its natural habitat, the motorcycle will surprise you. The Hero Xpulse 200 is all that you need when you go off the road, and trail riding. The bike has a nice ling travel suspension, tough knobby tyres and spoked rims, along with a body style which is purpose built. Drop it, and it will still be fine to climb those rocks and clear out of the slush. Watch this video and let us know if you would buy the Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200, or if you will buy the Royal Enfield Himalayan or the BMW G 310 GS.

Reaching or touching top speed like 130 or even 150kmph is different, but how long you can hold this speed in Indian Roads, there are very few expressways where it is possible. 80->95max is a very good cruising speed. To balance all the aspects (Price**/service cost/after sell service/parts availability/Mileage/ its a machine for all purpose.(city/highway/offroad)

I just sold my RE and book xpulse.losts of issues with RE like poor braking ,heavy weight,lots of maintanance,tractor like vibration on 100+ speed you just struggle to grab handle bar,even you struggle to achieve 100km on normal highway

I too own RE Classic 350 and I too had a same thought and looking for best alternative for Offroading, tourer and low maintenance cost. But now finally iam seeing some good reviews on Offroading with this much awaited Hero XPulse 200. 90% I have made up my mind to depart with RE and purchase Hero XPulse. But this 10% is what iam stuck with.. if only some of my query is answered? #How much comfortable to ride with Pillion eg. With your Wife and Kid.? #Is it possible to add Tourer kits to it like Saddle carrier etc.? #Is it possible to change Seat similar to that of Triumph Tiger.? #Can we change handlebar.? #Any chances to modify the sound of exhaust or replace the Exhaust?

Phir bhi Xpulse can match maximum of your expectations. But I'm sure no bike can satisfy all of your requirements. I repeat 'no bike.'

Dhang se chala.. Maine apni xpulse ko 90 pe cruise kiya hai, very less vibrations i felt. Mileage on highway around 43 kmpl... Taken it to pokhara from patna, didn't feel any issue

For INDIAN road conditions 80-90 km /hr is the best speed specially when you are riding a bike. I have HIMALAYAN but then also I hardly take it over 95-100 km/hr. May be India roads are good but then you have to deal with stray animals, mentally blind people who just can't see vehicle and crosses roads like Dr. Strange and if spared with that you have the super irresponsible drivers who just drive to kill every one on the roads.

We agree too. We don't recommend high speed riding either. But we have to highlight what is what. The Xpulse 200 is perfect for anyone who is looking to enter the world of adventure / off-road / trail riding. Light, forgiving, and easy to handle power.

Good bike . I test drove it but way underpowered for an off roaders. Torque dies at slush compared to Himalayan. I thought they will come with higer CC. 200 is still fine . It gets stuck in mud. And it all depends on how we ride also . As far as the product is concerned it's awesome at that price.

I would still say, himalayan is an overall better bike but we don't have much options in adventure riding category at this price range... Also himalayan costs about 75000 more than this bike..

rocky kashyap Chutiyon ki kami nahin hai . I have cbr 250 . I never ride above 80 on the highways . Our highways are simply unsafe for fast riding . 80 is more than enough . This is a fantastic bike , I test rode it , this is perfect for Coorg trips on weekends.

RE Himalayan kabad. There are people who are doing nation to nation rides on Himalayan. You are not worthy to buy . That's the fact .have you ever used Himalayan . I am sure not. And now 650cc Himalayan will come soon . Himalayan have good high end torque which you can use at low end RPM which means off roading is butter smooth. I have done ladakh on Himalayan . That bike stands at level different compared to other off roaders due to its long stroke 410cc engine. Kis aukat pe tune kabad kaha idiot. Aaj tak atleast ek breakfast ride Kiya hai tuney.

RE is selling in more than 65 countries and it's a brand that's the most thought after. Hope it's clear for you. Engineering failure it seems. Better be careful when you give such comments without lack of substantial information. Like any other product sometimes a unit fail to perform . And it's common to all brands whether it's automobiles or it's a mobile phone . I mean how can you generalise so fast without root cause analysis.
