The fact that they downgraded the cup holders in the 11th gen is weird. I have no where to put my big friggin bottle!

2016 Civic manual owner here. The shifter is cable operated, no way near old school honda linkage shifter. Rev hang is quite noticeable. The Android infotainment screen can be rooted with hondahack and customized to the moon.

I love how Honda still offers 6spd manual in their brand new 2024 models. Although only in 5dr hatch, if u want a manual sedan its only available in SI

Way better than Toyota. Killed it in the Corolla sedan and then in the Corolla hatch. "Just buy the GR Corolla" ah yes, spend 50% more just because I want a manual. Also there's like 20 2024 GR Corollas for the entire country.

Awesome review Zach. I really considered getting one of these over my 2023 sport 6mt hatchback. Love the front end looks, however can’t get over the eyesore crab leg taillights and rear end design. The center console had so much more room in the 10th than the 11th it’s insane. 11thgen is much more impracticable it’s insane. 11thgen is also proving to be much less reliable with the leaking hatchback issue

I used to have 2019 Honda Civic Sport Manual and recently sold it. I miss this baby badly. Amazing machine to drive, fun, pickup, shifting gears everything is a top notch.

Had an ‘16 EX Sedan and ‘19 Touring Hatch of this gen before moving onto my current ‘22 Touring Hatch. Remember what a stir this gen was with its design when it was released. Think Hyundai aped this gen with their current Elantra. Loved both 10 gens I had but my 11th gen despite its simpler styling is definitely a better car in refinement, quality, and features.

This one has been my favorite generation of Civic with the design and all the creature comforts it comes with! Though, we never had a manual one here (all of them had CVTs, even the base model). A friend of mine has the 2018 Sedan and we did ride on that car quite a few times. Miss the dude.

@imnotusingmyrealname45666 ай бұрын
I'm saying this again and again. Economy cars need to have manuals! "Only enthusiasts buy them so only enthusiast cars should have them" is insanely stupid because way fewer people will learn manual if it's only in a couple cars and enthusiast cars are hard to obtain. I applaud Honda for having a manual in the Civic to this day! I will never forgive Toyota for killing the manual Corolla. The GR Corolla is at least 50% more expensive and entirely unavailable. I really hope when the Corolla gets a facelift the manual will be back, considering the brand new Tacoma got one.

I think 2019 and 2020 were the last two years that Honda offers the combo of a manual naturally aspirated sedan. No to mention there is no more base manual normal Civic after 2025😢 Not even for the 1.5 turbo.

I 2ould take the basic civic. The SI would be more expensive to repair. I think that most would rather purchase the Civic up to the downturn of the economy and no disposable income that were available when this car was produced
