FYI, the one she is reviewing has a different grille than most trims. The one you will mostly see looks closer to the older one, but has 4 horizontal chrome bars instead of 3.

dunno why it doesnt have rear vents in lower trims (only Elite and Highlander do). Kia Sorento has the safety pack as standard across all trims AND rear vents. Much better value.

I'm not a fan of the facelift. Looks less bold and confusing. The tablet style headunit is bad imo. Aussie Summer will probably overheat it compared to previous design. The only pluses are the wireless charging and rear usb connection. Apart from that, it's nothing great and probably why most people will get the Kona instead. I have a TLE2 Highlander myself. I waited til I seen the facelift before I decided what to buy.

@@mrright2869 I have GPS, Normal speaker set up for now (3 band equaliser is good) and DAB+ isn't that great here in Australia. In fact, radio is average in general here.

@@trenchy1990 My wife's DAB+ works great in Sydney. The new interior in the MY19 looks so much more modern & well finished. A lot of the cheap plastics have been replaced by soft touch finishes. I believe that will be important with resale. If full Sat Nav & a modern look is not important to you, buy a MY18 Demo. Obviously We are all looking for different things in a car.

@@MichaelSmith-py3cf Guess we are but I bought a car for 20 yrs. If I was worried about resale value, I wouldve got a CX5 instead. Mine does have soft touch plastics. I also can use DAB with phone anyway but with 7000+ songs on my phone, Im all good. I also have a Dash Mat, so that top doesn't really matter.
