Great vehicle. We have a 19 Cherokee Limited V6, and a 19 Wrangler Sahara V6. Both are high quality, well built, great driving Jeeps. They are not made by FiAT. FIAT is a parent company Association. The Renegade does use Fiat components. That one I would avoid. Ive owned EVERYTHING. Vetts, F-150's. Range Rovers, Honda Ridgeline. 42 new vehicles in total, and I love these new Jeeps. My kia Sorento 2016 died on I95. Fuel injector stuck open, almost died!. Talk all you want, Jeep is as good as any or better.

@erikhoeffner5 жыл бұрын
Umm, its on a Maserati platform developed by Fiat that was shared with the Dart and Chrysler 200. That makes this car a Fiat Chassis vehicle because its their design, not Chrysler's. The Renegade is literally built in Italy and shipped overseas to sell here, it also shared its Chassis with a Fiat panda. Try again.

I have 2.0 liter engine has lot of power, I have tow package, I get 27 m.p.g. on average according to my Jeep. Came in Light brownstone metallic and Black/Tan interior. Used snow mode in foot of snow, Tires not really for deep snow when I tried to go from stop cherokee was challenged. Great vehicle first Jeep I ever purchased. P.S. place your foot under rear bumper rear hatch opens, found that by accident.

Joseph1NJ You can apply regular grade fuel but the horsepower ratings will drop a little. My mom's 2017 Ford Edge Titanium 2.0 EcoBoost gets 245 horsepower although she uses regular grade fuel which doesn't affect performance. She gets up to 29 mpg.
@76carmel6 жыл бұрын
Joseph1NJ And if you’re on the fence, you can fill it with mid-grade gas. In fact, FCA’s HEMI V-8’s recommend mid-grade, and the 3.2L V-6 for the Cherokee recommends mid grade.

90% based off the Maserati Lavante six-figure luxury vehicle platform and designed by those engineers with nearly the same everything. Go look up one it’s the same interior, materials, screens, switches, buttons, placement, transmission, Maserati has the 3 L turbo built by Ferrari and Jeep has the 2 L turbo designed by Ferrari but factory built.

I don't believe FCA even has a 10-speed. They've got 9s in the front wheel drive platforms, and 8s in the rwd ones.

Chrysler's quality has improved ten fold since Fiat took over. Yeah, it's still laughably abysmal, but it was much worse ten years ago, especially when the economy tanked and they were circling the drain. Look at any Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler vehicle from those years and you can tell they were pinching pennies and cutting corners at every turn to churn out as cheap of a vehicle as possible. Man, they were awful. The Wrangler is a perfect example. The JK was embarrassing when it debuted with its incredibly bad interior material quality, parts-bin engine and transmission, and plethora of design flaws. Fiat was the one who actually took a step back and publicly admitted how bad it was, forcing a much welcomed interior refresh in 2011 and a worthy, albeit already dated, powertrain in 2012. The JK finally got the attention and love it deserved towards the end of its generation, but unfortunately it came way too late. FCA still has a lot of work to do in the QC department, sure, but they're phenomenally better than they used to be and they're starting to show pride in their Dodge and Jeep brands. Say what you will about how goofy the Cherokee is, regardless of the front fascia redesign, but for a vehicle that has absolutely no articulation and will never hold a candle to the XJ, the Trailhawk truly is an impressive off-roader.

TheJ602 apparently you know nothing about that wonderful 9-speed automatic that was known to fail. Now add to that a 2 liter turbo that can possibly also be a maintenance/reliability nightmare, and you just have a handful of a vehicle I would personally steer clear of.
@jeremystout412 Жыл бұрын
@@jlcii, the ZF 9 speed itself is fine mechanically, but the tuning on initial models were problematic, and that goes for any brand that used them. The general public has a huge misconception as to how it functions. It’s the only automatic to use dog clutches between certain gear sets. Also regardless of brand, I’ve noticed several units being under or overfilled. Replace your transmission fluid regardless of the “lifetime” bogus. Every brand has transmission failures, especially now. The 2.0T is quite unproblematic, much better than the Pentastar. The 2019+ models are quite fine in terms of reliability.
