I got these mirrors for $275 (USD) a couple of weeks back. Put them on my ZX6R 2023 and found out that the left winglet mirror doesn't stay in place once past 40 mph! The right mirror has some resistance when adjusting it but the left mirror has zero resistance moving up - which means that any wind that hits it - makes it tilt all the way up - this is a serious design failure! I'm hoping that the guy that sold them will provide some technical assistance but no luck so far.

Sorry to hear that, my suggestion would be once you got the angle perfect for you, dab some superglue on the adjustment joint so it's fixed and won't move anymore. Not a great fix but normally you don't adjust mirrors all the time, just once or twice when it's the right spot it's there forever.

@@thesighbored yes - that would be one option - I guess the only option at this point. The problem though is how do I access the 'adjustment' - would I be able to access it if I remove the winglet part from the base plate?

@rogervega9846 If it's the same as in the video, the small mirror has a ball joint behind it not exactly sure how to access it if you cannot superglue directly maybe apply some "Sugru" (can Google it) moldable glue on the area, install it quick and adjust, let it dry and cure to hold the mirror in place.

@@thesighbored googled sugru - but still not sure how I can access the area behind the mirror. The design is so flawed and for $275 - this was an extremely costly mistake - I should've just spent the extra $$ for the rizomas! And the worst part is the Jaguh works owner has stopped responding! Thanks for your assistance - will try it out but I might just end up throwing these in the trash. Hope nobody else makes this mistake and buys these mirrors!

@rogervega9846 I'm sorry to hear that.. I think you don't need to trash them just yet, maybe try to disassemble it and figure it out, if cannot be fixed then go with the Rizoma one.. When I tried them. Those mirror didn't appear to have complicated construction.

Why does it look like the mirrors have fit ment issues. Look at the right and left mirror. The left looks good the right u can still see where the old mirror fits. I would go with the rizoma mirror the fold down and turn into winglets

These aftermarket items probably have more minor deviation I guess, we didn't clean the surface before install otherwise you won't see the dirt marks and notice that..

Watched your newer uploads on ZX6R and can see that you are not using this mirror. Any particular reason why?

These are designed for the latest ZX6R, when I put them on my older ZX6R they are a bit too swept back, look more like Gundam than winglets. Being swept back means the mirror angle changes so it's harder to see on my older model ZX6R, if they come up with a more universal one I might change to those.. I don't really like the Rizoma ones, they look good folded flat like winglet but I cannot use the mirrors that way and if I go through any roadblock I must be quick to flip them open to show I have the mirrors open.. 😅

Yeah can replace with your own dome shape bolts like OEM from bolt shop.. Since it's version 1 probably they will refine and improve on further for next version

For me, yes. I only need to know if there's something behind/beside and the wide angle mirror gives me that info. If I want to know the vehicle number/make/model/color then probably not enough vision for that. 😅

Do you have better visibility than the stock mirrors? They look a lot less wide so I am concerned that they will show more of your arm than before.

Any mirror that is smaller than stock mirror won't give you more visibility.. So these definitely do not, they are enough to glance if something is behind, still need to head check.

I did a mock install (it's in the video) on my ZX6R which is a 2009-2012 model, it can fit but the mirror angle is a bit off cause the winglets are swept back more like a V that's why I didn't install them on mine.

It's not the same, Rizoma ones don't work in closed position which is what 99% of the time people will do, keep it closed. This one allows for mirror use all the time..

They are actually the same, just with the LED signals in the winglet.. Plus we didn't have a current year ZX10R to test it out, but it will be more or less the same as the ZX6R

These are designed for 2019- ZX-6R and 2016- ZX-10R, other models (like mine) can still be fitted but the angle is different and the screws probably need to get a bit longer ones..

Be careful replacing fuel covers or installing decals. Aftermarket fuel covers can have fitment issues, causing vapors to escape and possibly water to get inside. You could also have the opposite issue where they might not vent properly at all, causing the tank to pressurize and fuel to get forced into the emissions system.
