Hey I have a question I want to add a viper smart start to the Evo one. The manual says I will need a FD-DATA cable that is sold separately but can't seem to find one. Do you know where I can buy it ? Thanks

A shock sensor is always installed directly to metal body of a car. Otherwise it's not going to detect anything. You literally installed it on a cushion.

Respectfully, if manufacturers wanted them mounted to metal they would include screws with them, and not wire ties, Which is what I used. And also note the 2 thin rectangular holes on both sides of a shock sensor which fits perfectly to a wire tie... just sayin...

Completely off topic but wanted to ask you a question. I have a 66vw 6 volt system. Can I just wire in a usb port for charging a cell phone? Or should I get something that limits the voltage

@@Lesscoelectronics Two more questions if you can help. First, if the siren output is negative I connect it to the black wire on the siren and the red to 12V? Second, the shock sensor I received has a 5 pin connector and the evo one has a 3 pin connector input. What do I do in that case? Thanks
