I got one of these in may 2021, identical to one in video, great car, it's the isg2 in 1.6gdi naturally aspirated in infra red, it's great having privacy glass in rear, heated seats in front and back and reverse camera and sensors as well as satnav , loads of room in the car for my mountain bike and camping gear an for my kids when I pick them up, it's the perfect SUV for me, great mpg I get 40mpg town only driving and on busy A roads and country roads get 45 to 52 mpg driving to work and back ten miles each way, can't complain about that, power like you say is nothing exciting it's just adequate enough but keeps up with traffic and enough power to overtake lorries an stuff just need use lower gears than u would with a turbo car, even in 6th gear it coasts uphill no problems when doing 60mph but just need use lower gears if ur pulling off a roundabout straight up a hill if you put it in 3rd at only 20mph going uphill the lack of torque is noticeable but great car I'm more than happy with it and after my PCP contract is up I am seriously considering just paying the guaranteed future payment and keeping the Sportage rather than handing it back an getting a new car, very impressed with this car does everything I need an cheap to run and insure 👌👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I've had my new Sportage (spec 2 manual, 174hp AWD) for about 6 weeks and it has really surprised me just how good it is, big, comfy, practical and lovely to drive although maybe a bit juicy on the fuel, its currently only averaging about 34 mpg, hoping it'll get a bit better after a few thousand more miles, but that's the trade off having a smallish engine in a big car I traded down from a 2013 Mercedes E class (250cdi auto) cause it wasn't ULEZ compliant. I think the only thing I miss about the E class is the superb Harmon Kardon hifi system and avg 48 mpg.

I own one, I like it. I think it looks nice. Its not super fast but drives quite nice in the snow. Its good on gas.

I recently reviewed one on my channel. I had the 1.6 diesel GT Line with automatic transmission. Liked driving the car a lot and found it to be really popular when seeing other vehicles on the road.

Just got mine here in Greece, here we have 1.6 diesel mild hybrid option. Very good to drive and economical. Bravo KIA

Hi Jeffrey! Interested in getting one as well here in Greece too. Which one did you get? Is the ride very stiff? Real world consumption? Just worried about diesel "harshness", potential service issues (e.g. DPF)...Enjoy your new car! :)

@@gpateropouloshi George,efharisto... I got the 1.6 diesel mild hybrid upgrade in white ,2WD. The ride is not that stiff. Riding for two weeks now around glyfada and consumption is at 7.7liters/100kms. About service, don't bother as every car do need to be reliable.

Looks lovely in the red colour, i want to get one of these in a couple of years hopefully in red with either the 1.6 turbo petrol or the 1.6 turbo diesel 👍 beautiful looking suv, was a choice between the sportage and the hyundai tucson, both are nice, i really like the volvo suvs but theyre soo expensive lol, kia and hyundai best value for money and look great too and loads of space, and adequate acceleration, you dont buy an suv for performance lol 😂

Why the hell would you put the rear lights down low in the bumper, the most vulnerable part of the car and out of the following drivers eyeline. just dumb!

​@@larouche7644 You talk a load of utter garbage. That is certainly not the way to speak English properly, where do you come from, that you need to be spoken to at a snail's pace, or can you just not pay attention properly and are generally a bit sloooow!
