Hi everyone! This video was recorded about 2 weeks ago, when Sofyan's Bell's Palsy was at its worse as you can see from the right side of his face being completely paralyzed. Thankfully, he is now nearly 100% fully recovered but as always, we appreciate your concern and thank you for watching!

Great review! I own the Kia Stinger and I LOVE it! This care is everything you said it is and more in your review. I could not wait to drive it after it saw it at the Philly Auto Show in 2017. I had to drive all the way to Virginia to get this car because it was not available in The North East. It was truly worth the drive to VA. I get complements every where I go when people see it.

I had read and watched a lot of reviews on the Stinger GT, before I had the chance to get behind the wheel of one a couple of weeks ago. My expectations at that point had been very high indeed, but I was still a bit sceptical. Could this car really be as good as all the reviews made it out to be? OH hell, yes it can! And it is! 😀 I put my name down for a 2021 facelifted Stinger GT right there on the spot. The car really is that brilliant!

@rlgwoody89666 жыл бұрын
BG, Lease deals are pretty aggressive due to incentive cash. I recommend checking out the lease offers on Kia.com. Select the Stinger model, configure your car and then click on lease estimator. I really enjoy this car. Good luck with your research.

Absolute valid point on branding. I currently own an Audi Exclusive S5 sportback that totaled $71k. The Stinger is a strong competitor at $52k for a GT2 AWD (minus a few short comings due to Audi's impeccable interior design plus their legendary Quattro system) if we're comparing apples to apples. If the Audi brand did not exist & I wasn't a fan of their products I would definitely consider owning one of these.

iTzMark671, well, I think it's more about who designed and engineered it. A car can be made anywhere! For example Toyota Corolla is made in something like 6 countries and the new Honda Civic comes out of England. To me it doesn't make it a British car.

Sofyan, so glad to hear that you are close to 100% recovered! Your dedication has no bounds and it shows in the quality of your videos. I plan to purchase a Stinger in 2019 and I'm torn between AWD & RWD. I live in Columbus Ohio and our winters have given below average annual snowfall, but when it does snow, my AWD on my current IS 350 F-Sport is absolutely awesome! However, I think I want the full enthusiast's experience that only the RWD option (with staggered 19" Michelins) can give me. Thanks for your videos and keep up the excellent work!
@theredline6 жыл бұрын
Kenneth Clark Thanks Kenneth! Here in DC, we’d probably choose the RWD Stinger simply bc the snow is very inconsistent during the winter months and a good set of winter tires will easily overcome that. That being said, the AWD model is certainly very good and if you live in an area where it’s cold more often, the heated steering wheel feature that is included is very tempting. Luckily, Kia says when it’s in sport mode, the system has the ability to do an 80/20 power split and can send 100% of the power to the rear wheels if necessary. Hope that helps with your decision!

My tita had the same thing with your face, she had a full recovery after a couple of months of relaxing and minimal medication. PS: Youre my favourite car reviewer in youtube. Planning to bought a volvo xc90 because of you.

I am so between this and the Veloster N.....Hyundai or Kia.....I never thought I'd be between those two brands EVER......comes down to how much I want to row my own gears...
@IReahpZz6 жыл бұрын
David Santiago can't go wrong man both great cars. The N will most likely be more fun but this is definitely the faster more luxurious car.

Sofyan is the best @ what he does. Thorough & concise. Really is a pleasure watching his videos. 👍🏻

I hope they sell like hotcakes and cut into the sales of Infinit, BMW, Audi, etc. Make those companies step their game up. The German stuff is largely for badgewhores now, and IDK WTF the Japanese are doing. Acura and Infiniti have epic failed with their latest offerings.
@DS..696 жыл бұрын
TheHvk So they have joined Lexus is what your saying. Lol
@chigasaki066 жыл бұрын
I sent Infinity corporate an email demanding that they step their game up. I told them to ditch DAS, use the Giulia as the standard for steering feel, and update their transmission or switch to a ZF sourced one. They told me that they don't accept "unsolicited advice." That's why infinity has been sucking! Acura needs to step their game up too. I hope the Stingers and the G70 when it goes on sale, do very well.

TheHvk Acura is on their way to making a comeback with a much better lineup

NileshR12 The day Acura comes back is to have a RWD in there line up.

Chigasaki06 Fuck Infiniti then. Not as good as the Germans and nowhere near as reliable as there rest of the Japanese.

Way to go Alex, you looked like you were realy haveing some fun on your run ... !

This is why I was puzzled that the press picked a Japanese brand for the car of the Year. The stinger is more deserving to win!

Who would have thought Alex could have that much fun. Thanks Kia

I've owned 3 sorentos and that experience taught me Kia is one of the best dollar for dollar brands available.

This Snow Track fad might be fun for reviewers but it doesn't give useful driving info for 90 percent of situations.

roscoe1972 I guess it’s for the folks up north and in Canada that get a lot of snow year to year.

It doesn’t mean shit to Folks in the Midwest (myself included) but to folks that get harsh weather but don’t want to get an SUV or don’t have the money for a “weekend warrior”, I think AWD is a terrific option.

Fantastic video and presentation from Sofyan, as usual. Love the title and his insights throughout the piece. I now officially want a Stinger!!

As long as dealers don't mark this model up like crazy this is a great buy. Great review as usual Sofyan.

The stinger is ugly as hell in my opinion. Kia/Hyundai are unreliable garbage. Every real car fan knows it. Now I wait for the Kia/Hyundai fans to yell at me for not liking this junk car.
@francismartinez60496 жыл бұрын
bb2status I wouldn't go as far as to say it's garbage, but it's not built as well as Hondas Toyotas, Fords, or Subarus by any stretch of the imagination. Their resale value is absolutely horrible though, I can probably pick one up for 1/2 price next year. The Stinger is just one of those overrated cars. No one will want to buy this after 10 years as a used car. It will fall apart anyways
@denisep10266 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to like Kia, 😊😊. They are very reliable behind Toyota. If not ahead of them.
@jebbush84916 жыл бұрын
I love how you tell off the one group of people (Kia/Hyundai owners) who would actually know how reliable they are.
@beri2326 жыл бұрын
Brian Lawrance ..... you’re listing Ford as reliable? Better give your head a shake.... your eyes must be stuck.
@IReahpZz6 жыл бұрын
Brian Lawrance you realize all cars depreciate right? Fords aren't horrible in reliability but there no where near the top. Honda is behind Kia and Hyundai in reliability. Only one above Kia in ratings is Toyota Lexus group. That's it. And considering this is faster in a straight line from the factory than any Lexus offering. It doesn't matter.
