The premium subcompact crossover space continues to grow with cars such as the BMW X1, Audi Q3, Volvo XC40, MINI Countryman and so many more! With this hybridized offering, the UX offers a unique choice for buyers in this space. So let's see if Lexus is fashionably late to the subcompact crossover segment! You neglected to mention that the F Sport has a revised suspension (springs and bars ) at least U.S. specs. I am 6’2” and loving my car also. You also didn’t mention the advances made on quietness and noise isolation unless I missed it. Terrific and informative piece !!

I love it. Same as you I a, too tall for this vehicle but it looks sporty and the grill even works. With Lexus quality and AWD, I take it over the Volvo or anything else in its class and have great fuel economy. How was acceleration?

Electric motor provided most of the initial acceleration. Great for highway overtaking but the engine/CVT will start to drone if you’re really pushing hard

Hybrid does not have direct shift cvt. It’s only for 2l na model

I typically go snowboarding twice a year under these conditions with slight incline. Do you think the UX250H equipped with Snow Tires would be a good vehicle for snowboarding trips?

Thanks. How tall are you? Trying to demonstrate headroom and legroom without telling us exactly how tall you are is a little pointless. Nice scenery.

Allow me to make an observation about the CVT. He stated they put a "launch gear" to make it closer to driving a regular automatic transmission. When they put the launch gear in, it is no longer a CVT. It is now not a CVT nor is it a true automatic with 4, 5, 6 gears, etc. It is now and excuse my language a "BA....IZED" transmission. The correct term should be a "CVT/Automatic Transmission. I own an 18 Toyota XLE Hybrid with a CVT. It takes a little getting used to but I honestly see no need for a launch gear. Why complicate things and that is all they do nowadays. They have gotten away from reliable, simple to maintain vehicles for these monstrosities of stuffing all this complicated stuff into cars because we now have computers to play with. And lastly, WOW is this thing a ton of money!

The battery is specified as 24 kW nickel-metal hydride. The battery capacity (kWh), should be a much lower number.

I averaged 6L/100km during my time. I drove approx 350kms in total, 250km just on the highway

Does the vehicle you are driving have factory installed NAV or are you using apple car play? Cant get a UXh here in the US with NAV at all!!!! They are telling me I can order NAV but it may be 6 months or more! They said no Luxury models either..
