I LOVE orange-reds (and just oranges too tbh) I feel like its super flattering on a huge range of skin tones and I love that the same color can go classic 1930's hollywood, or weird and quirky modern, or statement lipstick depending on how its worn. the first lipstick I ever loved was a sample of estee lauder's nectarine that I borrow from my mom in 2007 or 2008. I loved it enough I bought my own tube with my tutoring money, which I still have.

The Chanel baume essentiel has been a wonderful discovery for me this year. It's a natural looking highlighter that gives that glow from within look. It's been hard finding a highlighter that isn't too metallic and shiny, but also doesn't contain coconut oil.

2019 has been a year of lipsticks for me. I think I got more lipsticks that year than all of my years combined started in 2015. I’m developing a bad habit I’m trying to ease in 2020 haha. I’ve bought over 40 red lips alone within 2019....🙈🙈 I have such a large CT collection now but I my top five lips are CT-walk of shame, stoned rose, and. red carpet. Dior 999. And Bobbi brown claret. So fun! I made two major purchases this year: the original and stunning Norvina palette, which I wanted since it came out, and Bobbi Brown's lip pencil and lip colour (Ballet Pink and Blondie Pink), which have become my signature MLBB combo! I like keeping my collection pared down, but have been starting to do makeup on others for weddings etc, and so have a small kit started of things for that as well. Love these roundups, and saw a few key things I wanted to try- the Charlotte Tilbury shadows and Bobbi Brown shin lipsticks especially!

Loved this! 2019 was the year I discovered cream products and especially Nudestix. Also rekindled my love for gloss and sheer bases. I found Hourglass caution mascara too and it’s amazing, once I run through the others I have I’m repurchasing it. It’s my holy grail for.sure.

I love the idea of using different decades as inspiration, but unfortunately I tend to focus on present day figures as we're more likely to use similar products - I always think look videos with dupes are best served with tutorials which isn't the style of my channel x

Yes! And understood - how about something along the lines of makeup you love but don’t get a chance to wear often? As a little aside: after I watch your videos, I tend to go swatch everything I own... maybe all lipsticks one afternoon or all eyeshadows price all cream blushes. Swatching has helped me de-stress so much this past year!
